Whyte says if every deal goes through it would cost £18 million for transfer fees and wages. On the flip side of that though all the deals could fall through. The more time goes on the less I trust him already.

I think Weir will remain club captain even though he won't play as much this season. I would think McCulloch will be vice captain. Does anyone know the stats on who captained us when Weir hasn't played?

If Bartley and Cuellar both sign I don't see Weir being in the first XI every week. It would be interesting though if McCoist ended up going with a back three to allow the fullbacks to get further forward. Maybe that's why he is going for Wallace as he is more attacking than Papac.
