  1. Just read what Whyte has said and something doesnt add up. He states they budgeted for £5 from Europa and £1 from Scottish cup and that meant they ran out of money before the end of the season. So what about the £5.5m he sold Jelavic for? Would that not have filled that void?
  2. Perhaps I am wrong, but is the panel not purely investigating whether dual contracts were in place, not whether the EBTs were legal or not. So winning or losing the BTC makes no difference. Many players have came out and said they did not have a dual contract, but did have an EBT. Murray could use an EBT to avoid paying tax, but unless the total of what they paid via salary plus EBT is larger than the documentation provided to the SPL, it makes no difference as no rules have been broken. And I have a strange feeling what has actually been happening is the certain players have been given a covering letter saying they could be eligible for a loan via the EBT, which also would not break any SPL rules. But the SPL can go bite my banger before they ever consider trying to lay a finger on one of our trophies!!!
  3. I actually heard he is going over to be with Northern Ireland squad this weekend, dont know whether he is playing or just in the squad but this should point to being back for next game anyway.
  4. I keep reading about we should be going in harder and giving it back. I disagree, i never want to watch my Rangers resort to kicking teams off the park (unless its the mhanky mob), our players should be skilful enough to pass the ball about quick enough to embarrass teams that can only kick us about. But McCoist or Green MUST start highlighting these type of shocking tackles, they must not be allowed to continue.
  5. I dont believe the fans who keep on saying we will be promoted with ease? Someone else says its 3 months in and sitting second. Just to make something clear to all those fans as they seemed to have missed this glaring fact WE ARE PLAYING IN THE FUCKING THIRD DIVISION. To be 3 months in having even dropped a single point would be a red neck. To have not won a single away league game at this level in 4 attempts is beyond a disgrace. We are not playing teams anywhere near on the same level as us, so why are we only playing one up front. How long do we go on saying, a bit more time and it will all come together. If you carry out one action and see one result, why would you expect to carry out the same action yet see a different result?
  6. I was just thinking that myself about the Ibrox name, but it would be iBrox to fit in with all other apple naming conventions
  7. I thought the difference in standard of officiating from last night compared to the rest of our games this season was like night and day. If only we had refereeing like that every week we would all be a bit more content. Wasn't many decisions he got wrong, and no cards which didn't warrant one. Christ big Jig could easily have been sent off for his elbow. That was a million times worse than big Kyles arm which he received a straight red for against QoS.
  8. Credit where it's due he done well with the team selections. And if anything positive is to come from being in Div 3, I felt we got stuck in like the Div 3 teams have been doing against us, we showed a bit of steel. And that's without Black and Templeton in the team too...
  9. Can't agree with you there, only time I have seen Rangers play on is when an opponent goes down and their own team plays on, eventually lose the ball and expect us to put it out when they could have done so. Fair enough playing on when on the attack but when it broke down and came back to halfway line there was absolutely no reason why they did not put the ball out.
  10. I am reading conflicting reports here. I was at the match as well and positive he was playing right back and it was the French lad Faure who played right mid, and i dont think he had his best match, Faure that is. Argy is a good bit bigger than Faure, and while on Tuesday Faure started rightback, he was terrible in that position but Argy is a far better player in that position.
  11. I thought the best period of the game we had was when Kyle got sent off, as we started quick sharp short passes and we cut them open which led to the penalty. As soon as we got in front, we sat back, McCoist decided in his infinite wisdom to take off the only guy on the park who is creative for us, McKay, and bring two players on. My main question is why didn't Argy START at right back when it's blatantly obvious that Faure was uncomfortable there and indeed looked a different player when moved into left midfield. I would love to have seen Argy at right back, Faure in right mid, push McKay into centre mid in front of Black and let him run at players in the middle of the park where I think he would run amok. When he has got into the middle of the park before he had put very nice thru balls on for Little and McCulloch to score from in the previous games. This formation change would also allow Jig to be up front.
  12. Why can Ally not understand playing one up front against teams like this AT HOME is under no circumstances acceptable. Every time he plays Jig in midfield we struggle as he is far better utilised up front. That has to be the worst performance in the first half i have witnessed in my lifetime. Sandaza never won one high ball all night, was gutted for big Kyle as he made a big difference when he came on.
  13. I didn't realise this raceclubs thing existed, you can do it for free. I just started a Stable called Rangers FC and my first horse is called Queens Eleven. Silks I have created a dynamite, red white a blue on the sleeves. Blue chest with five white stars!!!!
  14. Must say I agree with most of what you say, Little has scored most of our goals yet he gets kept out on the wing. Get him up front and put someone else out wide, Sandaza would be more effective out there than a loan striker. Little and Jig up front is the ideal partnership, then big Kyle for later in matches with Jig dropping back. I think we have really missed Edu in the middle of the park breaking up other teams plays, especially away from home. Our midfield has been over run in all the away games.
