Likely is when you have went up one of your good scores have fell off to be replace with your score that day. 

The Ladies tour in America are playing a course this week that has a number of replica holes on it. Seems completely daft to be playing a professional competition on a course that has mock up holes imo.

Mates a member and said it's roughly £890 which includes £50 bar tab and if you want a locker include £30.

Would need to be huge changes to Club 1872 first, and how will it affect the willingness for others to invest knowing that a they are not dealing with a single person as majority shareholder let alone a fans group

Am 2 upright 4.5 is over double what you require I would pass mate.

Spoiled for choice down that way anyway a few courses in a row if a remember rightly. 
Don't like folk failing with ideas but hope they fail with this one. 

We tried to negotiate with them and they weren't interested....as you say the clearly haven't thought through the winter months....fuck knows where we will be regarding international flights coming in next year either....it could be a costly mistake....we won't be around to see it mind you

I think they will come back to you soon asking if you want a membership no way that will work. Who's going to visit Scotland for golf in the months of October to March would maybe work in Dubai or somewhere that's warm all year round. 

Started off at £1200 nine years ago...this years membership was buttons due to covid and the course shutting....the previous year was £1650....it averaged around £60 a year increase 

Seriously m8 if you are consistently hitting it 250yrds I wouldn't be overly concerned....you possibly might get a further 20-30 yards but their maybe no guarantees you can keep it on the fairways 

Book a fitting session and go and compare your old driver to a new one. If you don't buy anything you will still probably still pay £30 but we'll worth it in your case. Affordable golf charged my old man £20 to do it. 

Was only contact sports a think, my golf club haven't said anything so must be sound. 

Most places will do if you buy the clubs they will waive the custom fit fee never heard of a company not doing it. 

Sitting on 9.5 the now went to 9.9 and got cut.4 last weekend. That cut last weekend is my first cut in over a year, and only a couple of buffers. 
Lost a lot of speed/became less active the last few years just trying to think of ways to get it built up again last time I was on a launch monitor wasn't trackman I was reading low 90s for swing speed that was 7 years ago cause it was 6 months after I got my irons guy basically told me the person that fitted me didn't give me the right shafts, still got the same irons the now. Plan to get a new set for next season but want to get some level of fitness/strength before got my next lesson in 4 weeks. 

Aye your a natural, what you playing off mate also any idea of your swingspeed? 
 
I was playing a par 3 in the medal on Saturday and it measured 162 on my rangefinder and I hit a 6 iron and it was 15ft from the pin, pin high that's where it finished it wasnt down wind or anything. 

No idea mate what swingspeed or stuff like that. I’ve broken 80 once. No lessons or discipline. Just a hacker. Should’ve taken the game up as a kid, but it was always fitba back then. I’m 64 now, but love golf. Only took it up in 2002. Have played some cracking courses though here in Canada and the US. Favourite course is Shadow Mountain in British Columbia. Some scenery and bears as well. 

Was just checking mate. Anything in the 200 yd range I use my 5 iron. Use it off the tee sometimes when the bitch driver isn’t working for me as well. 😀

No that was just that shot mate, think I need the gym. 

So my course only a couple years ago had money troubles and there was talk of it potentially shutting down not sure how close it was the pro decided to take it on himself basically and it got announced yesterday that we only had 1 space before it was a waiting list for new members what a job the pro has done to turn it round never thought we would be anywhere near a waiting list ever again.
