Heart of gold from Crolla though and Linares tiring slightly. Crolla catching him more but Crolla just seems to lack any real snap and power in his punches.........

I had Golovkin winning, 115-112. Too many close rounds, but I like aggression and Golovkin was generally the more aggressive.
35yrs is old for a pressure fighter like Golovkin. Not many stay effective into their mid 30s.
The only thing that beats GGG in this middleweight era is age. 2-3yrs ago Golovkin would have, IMO, comfortably beaten Jacobs. Size and movement were enough to make GGG struggle and he has lost a few % on his attributes to negate it.
GGG doesn't have long left as a top fighter. Father time beats everyone in the end.

he looked really poor tonight. For me he threw the cleaner work.  I have GGG 2 out the first 3 rounds then a 10-8 round , it had him 3 points up after 4 
 
so many tight rounds could have gone either way. No where near a robbery that some are making out

So if we take the half full approach. We've played them 3 times since then, currently halfway through the 4th time and we haven't built on that semi final. Hardly laid a finger on them and it's sickening.

Spot on but it's another barrier for the board to hide behind; "it's all the players/managers/DoF's fault".
 
A DoF is required where you have a network of scouts and other staff looking to enhance the football and business side, all we have is the bus driver saying he saw a good wee player at his sons amateur game and someone doing a wee bit of Football Manager revision to see if there are any good players in there.

Can't see why we need a DOF for the league we play in tbh
