  1. Mine too-tramps couldn't sell their tickets then either. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=Mc2I5m4XaGM&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DMc2I5m4XaGM
  2. spot on mate, really crazy outlook to have. surprised the bheasts havent already started a new suicide bombing campaign- lots of wee brendans going bang in the name of integrity! i wonder what they are promised when they get to heaven. Not 72 virgins, maybe just the u15s
  3. Splitters! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb_qHP7VaZE Dont know what the answer to any of this, but we have been picked off over the years.
  4. i see we have a useful banner ad for irish ferries... even in these times RM thinks of others. so if taking a flyer off erskine doesnt appeal why dont you...
  5. exactly. Celtic were looking out for Celtic, not Neil Lennon.
  6. Good piece Kev. I read the Times article. It is a desolate piece of writing and one contrived simply to make yet another attack on all things Rangers, and on this occasion, Scotland. As usual it is achieved by way by of the all too familiar use of snide innuendo. This journalist seeks to conjure images in the minds of readers of violent Rangers fans lying in wait for Mr Lennon. It is gravely insulting just as it was intended to be. The Times needs to seriously consider its judgement in allowing itself to be used in this way. Phil Gordon has assembled one fact ie Mr Lennon was advised by Celtic Security not to take a seat in the Directors box, and used the space afforded to him to infer that this is a Rangers problem. It is of course pure prejudice on his part. In short, he fails his newspaper and misleads its readers. If Phil Gordon had any other purpose than to sully our name, then he would have offered his readers another and more plausible alternative to Celtic's reasoning. That is, Celtic must have been acutely aware that by his own actions there was a very real chance that Neil Lennon would have heaped embarrassment upon his club. This is something totally airbrushed from all reporting on Neil Lennon and he is never properly held to account for his own behaviour. There is no way on earth that Rangers would have allowed Neil Lennon's safety to be compromised- like we need that. Rangers security and the Police, given all that has happened in the past, would have been very quick off the mark to make a swift and decisive decision regarding his safety should they have sensed a threat. It was Celtics reputation and not Neil Lennon's safety that was under threat and Celtic acted accordingly and let us carry the can.
  7. And there's me thinking it was because they are pish. Fucked by priests; fucked by Rangers. Poor fool never had a chance
  8. my first old firm and first trip to hampden. Mind blowing. I was 13 and the bears were in full voice all day, it was overwhelming. of course the GFITW also added to the flavour by panning in our bus window. Tinks, the lot of them
  9. Good discussion. There are many worthy names in our history. To me Cooper shone brightly at a time when we were struggling as a side- the early 80s was grim. He lit us up. I guess our points of reference will differ because of age, but when I was a boy Davie Cooper was the epitome of a Rangers player. I was glad he had the chance to play in a better side when Souness rolled into town. I saw him go through Hearts at Tynecastle many moons ago and it was breathtaking. Laudrup and Gazza might have done similar, but thats not the point. They might have been blessed with outrageous talent, but Davie Cooper was a bear touched by magic.
  10. Aye, totally with you one on that one dardo. An amazing feeling. another gem was the footage of the 'title celebrations' over at the glitterdome.
  11. All of the above, but Walter lifting the trophy (and also the LC at his last stint at hampden) was the sweetest moment and I had to vote for that. After a long and trying season, all the shit from the earls and our off-field problems, that was a beautiful moment to be a bluenose. The money shot of season 2010-11. I think Jelavic's LC goal made a big dent in the earls title hopes though- they were riding high on a wave of self congratulation at that time. We had been feeling the pinch in old firm games but they were bitch slapped from start to finish that day and they never recovered. Inverness was the proof of that.
  12. Top job Chris. I like your style. I enjoy the in depth stuff and a weekly digest to round up the weeks anti-Rangers dross, loonys etc seems like a good plan. Hotshot Hamish and Tom English's lazy piece on Wallace being a case in point.
  13. good blog Chris, keep up the good work.
  14. i understand all the reasons why not under the right circumstances he could be worth a shout- if he still has it of course.
  15. I find all this deeply disturbing- not just as a bear, but as a citizen. Have a read of Alex Massie, he expresses this well. Alex Massie
  16. I know mate- will be interesting to see what transpires. I am sure we will get the full treatment once again. Big dogs always attract yappy little fuckers and they usually end up on Radio Clyde. Heres to 4IAR.
  17. I know Craig Whyte has inherited a lot from the previous regime, but its his responsibility now to sort things out and to deal with our liabilities and allow us to move on. That, and supporting Super, is all that really matters, surely? We are all getting bubbles in the blood about some mad guy, whose main contribution to investigative journalism is to radge up bluenoses- how difficult is that? As far as him being a threat to Rangers, I cant see how he is a danger to anyone but the elderly among us. The fact is, he has to eat and there is more chance of doing that regularly off the back of the Rangers than there would be writing about the great successes of sellick this past 4 years. Poor cunt would endure a micro-famine if he relied on that shower of shite for a living. When we were at our lowest, they couldnt take us on the pitch. Thats what this is all about. Its not the pursuit of truth- its plain old bitterness. Just like its always been.
  18. lads, i dont post much. I know there is a lot going on in the background and it is sometimes trying for our club. But these cunts cant do us on the field of play, where it counts. We are champions. Big dogs always attract yappy little fuckers. Imagine what it feels like to pit your team's hopes on a tax case; to seek solace from some mad glaswegian fake irish cunt with a made up surname with too many consonants and a dead pensioner on his mind. Cant wait for the truth on that one. Rangers are all those cunts have. We are lucky, we are Rangers, we do it on the pitch. We are champions....again. :uk: :uk: :uk: :uk:
  19. the shadow! wonderful player.
  20. Totally agree I thought Derek Ferguson was outstanding- it was a real pity he took a wrong turn. He had the potential to be a Rangers great. I thought learning under Souness would be the making of him, but I was sorely disapointed. I remember him bossing the '86 LCF against celtic. Him and Durrant were really special players for us- we were robbed of them too early.
  21. im still unconvinced by lafferty. i was delighted the way he contributed at the business end of the season, which cant be underestimated. still, looking back he frustrated the hell out of me by having no end product and, like others, i have been wondering when he will come good. Perhaps this coming season is the defining one for his time at the champions. I dont see it as either/or in terms of DG- he is worth a punt, but if we are looking after the pennies, there are other parts of the team that need it more. If we are going to spend £2m+ I want someone commanding in midfield. We have missed Thompson in there at times- not perfect, but had bite and could pass to team-mates-something Edu struggles with. I think some of our losses have been through the absence of an evil bastard in midlfield.
  22. wonderful, that was truly wonderful. what a bunch of fannies. i love the one saying 'this is an iconic moment' how fucked up is that? I can only guess it would have been extra super-dooper iconic if they had a fucking trophy.
