STEVEN GERRARD has revealed Rangers plan to hire a manager to keep track of their loan players.
The Light Blues have several of their players out at other clubs in different countries at the moment.
Joe Dodoo and Jason Holt are both in England with Blackpool and Fleetwood Town respectively.
Eduardo Herrera and Carlos Pena are both in their native Mexico with Santos Laguna and Necaxa.
While Greg Docherty has scored four goals in 13 appearances for Shrewsbury Town since joining them in the summer.
And in the case of the latter in particular, his form has not gone unnoticed at Ibrox.
It is part of the reason why, according to Gerrard, Rangers now plan to appoint a loan manager.
He said: “We will have a discussion on loan players in the coming weeks, we are aware that Greg Docherty is shining down there.
“We sent someone to watch him recently.
“We are planning to appoint a loan manager to ensure we track our players as even when away they are Rangers players.”
