I would bring back big Eck he did sign some diddies granted but he got the job done on less of a budget than some others.

I reckon Ally is playing Smith there so he can cover for Wallace when he bombs forward which would maybe make sense against strong opposition but not in the lower leagues. They don't even combine well compared to him and Templeton in some previous games.

Big Eck would step back in or at a push the DeBoers but as it stands my choice is McCoist and will be till he is no longer the boss.
