  1. McCrorie, even though he is still learning, is our best centre backs and should be playing every game. However, one of the most critical aspects of managing today is the amount of game time given to young players. Too much game time will seriously affect the long term development of McCrorie. We should have varying formations relative to who we're playing - most times 2 centre backs but against the likes of the scum - 3 cb. Like brenda did against the sheep. With a mainly 2 centre back and periodic 3 cb formation, along with occasional rotation, all four get game time.
  2. The ol' man, a sergeant in the Royal Marine 42 Commando Brigade, passed away a few years ago in his hospital bed on Remembrance Day at 1 minute after 11am, wearing his beret and medals, would've loved the display.
  3. Normally, I'd slag those who give new posters a hard time. You deserve everything you get for that shite!
  4. The Rangers' oneness I'm talking about, while experienced at games, is certainly not limited to being at a game. eg. it's the feeling you get when travelling and singing with Bears on a supporters bus down to Wolverhampton, and taking over the town; Or, when you're 11 years old heading to Ibrox on your own upstairs on a corporation bus wearing your tammy and scarf, and three paedo bawbags come on, take your scarf and tammy and ragdoll you, then, at the next stop, four bluenoses come up the stairs, look at you and say, 'You awright, wee man?,' as the scum fuckers shite themselves, hand back your scarf and tammy and scarper doon the stairs, as we all proceed to give it laldy singing TBB. I, and probably you yourself, could give other examples of the kind of oneness I'm talking about. And a Rangers forum is certainly not limited to, as you say, expressing what members feel needs changed at the club - it encompasses this, but it is and is capable of much more eg. opinions of posters that like some things at the club and don't want changes, a place to find mates, to reminisce, to exchange ideas on players and tactics etc etc... Rangersmedia can be a place to experience Rangers oneness and belonging but sadly it rarely is. More often than not it's quite the opposite and we are at each other's fucking throats usually over fuck all - take last week in the locked Pena thread as an example, we are constantly slagging the fuck out of each other - and that's got nothing to do with differences of opinion or banter. Compare, for example, the first time you went to Ibrox with your scarf and how you felt among fellow Bears with kind of welcome new members get on here or when the usual posses gang bang a poster. There's not much of that Rangers oneness on here and their could be.
  5. Considering two of Ryan's red cards were for non existent head butts, there is one irrefutable fact - never in the history of football 'journalism' has more preposterous stupidity ever been printed by a newspaper.
  6. Nothing wrong with banter, mate. It's more than that. Do you get close to the same experience in here among Bears that you do at a game?
  7. There are few experiences better than being at one belting it out in a stadium full of fellow Rangers supporters. It's the reason I have followed the team so long. I joined Rangersmedia expecting to get this same experience once in a while. You'll find some good mates on here, right enough, but for whatever reason the unique experience of oneness among Bears that you get at games or when you meet Bears on the street or in foreign countries - never happens.
  8. And then there's that really frustrating as fuck, Messi, who takes 65 strides to run 10m!
  9. lol You kidding, with this lot on here? They'll have their piss take pics up soon enough. And I get enough aggro from her for the amount of time I'm on RM. Let's just say, that for any doubters up there - I know there is indeed a God
  10. What you on about ya fuckin' walloper! Your mate - the kraut cunt, comes on here mouthing off, calling me a fearty and you back the prick up with your like. Then, like a wee fucking lassie, you've got the fucking cheek to say I'm the one picking fights! Then, like a fucking moron, you compound the aggressive insulting bullshit you and your mate started by saying I'm embarrassing grandkids - with the expectation of not getting pulled up for your shite! And the complete irony of your bullshit, is that my initial post stressed the importance of Rangers players individually and as a team to confront those who initiate challenges against them. Btw, I am in my late 60's, however, as yet, I don't have any grandchildren as you incorrectly assumed. I have 5 sons the youngest of which is 3 weeks old. And you can be assured that the first lesson I will teach the wee lad, like his brothers before him, is to never look for trouble but when wee shites, like yourself, challenge him then put them where you are now - in their fucking place.
  11. At first, mate, I made the assumption from your taste in poncy gear in your avatar that you are, embarrassingly, a standing member of the prawn sandwich brigade and thus quite incapable of comprehending the concept of manning up to challenges; however, it's abundantly clear, from erroneously equating the act of confronting challenges with loyalty, and the incomprehensible pish of your above post, that you are, in fact, just an uneducated plastic prawn sandwich wannabe plastered on Lanliq rather than one too many Barbadillo 'Versos 1891' sherries.
  12. While it's highly commendable that our support has continued to turn out in the numbers they have these last years, this has absolutely sweet fuck all to do with the topics of our conversation - 'respect' and our new habit of not confronting en masse supporters who challenge us, specifically hivs and motherwell supporters. And that the board and our players, like our support, have failed miserably to adequately confront those who challenge us. Historically we have confronted whatever challenge came before us - this is what we were built on. Clearly, we no longer do this and, as a consequence, find ourselves these last years in a place we have never been before - getting fucked left right and centre by everyone on the park and off.
  13. Aye, it does go deeper than on the pitch But whether it's on the pitch or other adversaries, we must fight fire with fire at every level with each fire specific to the attacker. Right now and for a long time now all we do is take it lying down.
  14. And those few hundreds against thousands are heroes. And if we had done it in our thousands the hivs and motherwell would learn their lesson. The sfa do the injustice they do to us because they do not respect us. The Compliance officer does what he does to us because he does not respect us. Motherwell did what they did on Saturday because they did not respect us. Bowman did what he did to Cardosa because he did not respect him. If you don't send a message to these bastards that they better respect you, then, mate, we'll continue to get fucked - and deserve it.
  15. The way I act today or at Hampden in 1980 has nothing to do with the aggression or the childishness you assert. When growing up in a tenement on Croftbank St., Springburn, We were one of two protestant families on that street. At 5 years of age, I got beat up by a catholic bully from the next close. When I told ma maw what happened she, rather than being sympathetic, sent me back out the door, telling me I wasn't getting in till I beat him up. I got beat up again, and, on returning home, the door was shut. I went on my knees at the door, tears flowing down my cheeks, begging through the letterbox for her to let me in. Four more times I got beat up and four times returned to a shut door. The seventh time I faced him I beat the fucker up and, when I returned, the door was open. My ol' lady knew that if I didn't send a message to the watching street that day I'd be getting a doing every day by the other catholics. The lesson I learned was not about aggression or childishness. It was, in fact, quite the opposite - the act of standing up to aggression. And that's what I and Rangers supporters did at Hampden in 1980 and what I will do no matter what age I am. It's what enabled survival in Glasgow slums, and New York and LA, central and south American ghettos. And, you, mate, of all people - the fucking kaiser who, along with the rest of your kraut mob, got a right fucking doing when you tried your aggressive bullshit on the kind of character that wasn't having it!
  16. Of course, but why wasn't Bowman taken on by Alves, or Jack during the game after he took Cardosa out, and smeared his nose all over his face? By letting Bowman get away with it, Rangers sent the message to Bowman and the rest of the motherwell team that you can do what the fuck you want, rather than the message that needed to be sent - fuck with us, and you'll get the same back?
  17. And where were you and Graeme_4 on this day, china?
  18. What did we do when motherwell supporters challenged us at their midden? If they had challenged us in our pre politically correct days, we would have taken them on. We don't now, so we don't get what we did then - respect.
  19. I can understand how a player can deliberately smash a player's face in with his elbow during a game. I can understand how a ref does fuck all about it. What I can't understand, having been educated by Rangers teams for more than 60 years, is how that fucker Bowman didn't get carried off the field after doing it! Do you think Davis, or Greig or Hurlock or Forsyth or Roberts or Souness or Butcher or Brown would ever have allowed that motherwell cunt to get away with it, like fuck! Then, again, mibbee it's a wee bit unfair to expect Rangers players of today not to shite it, when we as a support are regularly shiting it when challenged by the likes of motherwell and the hivs, and let those paedo cunts do what ever they fuck they want in our house! We expect our players to go to war for us while we as a support never do it and have become pathetic politically correct fannies!
  20. In the last scum official match thread, I suggested two options to nullify brown - someone to nail brown hard as fuck in the first 10 minutes of the game - the way Bartley did or, in the alternative, stick Holt on him to 'snap, harry, and frustrate the fuck out of him'. When playing in a championship game long ago, my college team was up against a fucking Goliath of a player who had very limited football skills yet completely dominated the fuck out of our scared defence with his physicality. He scored the two goals we were down by at half time. On the bench we had a wee specky cunt, skinny as fuck, with very limited football skills. He rarely got a game. At half time I told the coach to put him on for the second half to man mark Goliath. He looked at me as though I was nuts saying, 'He'll get killed!' but he still put him on. I told the wee man the only thing he had to do was stick like glue to this man mountain, and continuously ask him questions about all kinds of shite - like what was his granny's name, did he have a girlfriend ..etc etc Right from the half time kick off, the wiry wee fucker was right on him, constantly niggling him with his chat, bony elbows and knees, irritating the fuck out of him. Within 15 minutes the big cunt was sent off with two yellows for repeatedly shoving the wee man away from him, and we won 3-2. He got MOTM.
  21. May 17th, 1961 European Cup Winners Cup Final: Rangers v Fiorentina. Mentioned a few years ago how a tally businessman offered ma Da a huge sum for the tickets night of the game outside the stadium. I saw the look on ma Da's face - he could taste the pound notes. Then he looked down at me, saw the look on my face and told the tally, 'no'. On the way home, ma Da's face was trippin' him - and it wasn't coz we lost the game.
  22. First Hampden experience - the 1961/62 Scottish Cup final when we beat Kilmarnock. Rangers were at Hampden so many times in the early 60's with Scottish Cup and League Cup semi finals and finals it rivalled Ibrox as our home park. Most memorable time was the 62/63 Scottish Cup Final replay when we humiliated the scum so much they were leaving 20 minutes before the final whistle. Another memorable occasion was Rangers v Eintracht in 1961 for the inauguration of the Hampden floodlights. This was the same phenomenal Eintracht who I'd watched clean our clocks in the European Cup, and who later played Real Madrid in the final in what is considered by many to be the greatest European club match of all time.
  23. In the early sixties, it was magic being a Bear. For years we humiliated and dominated the scum, creating and chanting 'Easy Easy' regularly. Then came their fucking 9IAR and their european cup - trust me, it was absolute fucking hell during those years, having to put up with all their shite! And while the last years have been bloody awful, for me, they don't come close to the depression of the BJK years. And the reason they don't come close - is that, in the BJK years, our situation was of our own making on the park whereas, in these last years, we plunged to the depths we did because of a draconian punishment intended to put us out of existence which was unjust and way ott for what we did. After all the suffering of the BJK years and the years prior to Holmes, our 9IAR was the icing on a fucking cake we had never dreamed of - every other week we woke up to phenomenal signings like Laudrup, Gazza, Souness, Gough, Butcher etc etc... it's hard to describe the feeling, you really had to live through those previous years to experience the unbelievable euphoria of it all. And as for the shite they're spouting about this latest run of titles, well, it's absolute fucking bullshit. We know it and, more importantly, they know it - the tainted titles acquired during the years Liewell and his spfl posse that got us demoted count for fuck all. If you turn it around, and Rangers had acquired this run of titles, and the scum had been demoted for the same reasons we were, I'd sure as fuck be spouting loud about it to wind them up, all the while knowing such titles mean absolutely piss all to me! Our 9IAR years, along with our Cup Winners Cup, was my greatest experience in more than 60 years of supporting the Gers.
