Get the lad out on loan to a good English lower league team, with a clause that he plays a decent amount of games. It's a difficult situation because the boy obviously has a lot of potential, but he isn't better than the players ahead of him.
Would have been the same for everyone from what I understand. People watching on a stream would have to cope with both a shitey satellite connection and a shitey internet connection though, so that's maybe why a few folk missed it.
His flick on to McKay down the left hand side was brilliant. Don't think I seen him beat a single player during the time he was on the pitch though, although he could have went on a mazy 80-yard run during one of the picture outrages for all I know.
This is a necessity IMO. An injury to Wallace or Tav puts our entire team off balance. Halliday and Wilson can both play LB, but I don't think we have anyone who can step in at RB, unless Warburton feels that Ryan Sinnamon is capable of stepping in.
That's a really classy gesture from the club, great to read about. It also means that the released players are less likely to harbour any resentment, which could be very important if one of them suddenly turns out to be class and we want him back.
I reckon he'll come on for either o'Halloran or Miller later. We needed something else down the left hand side and McKay's the only guy on the bench who can play there.
I've no seen anyone say he's been class. He's been the best of a bad bunch, but that's probably down to the fact that such a slow match suits his game much better than the rest of our players. The performance as a whole has still been shocking.
Besides that one fucking awful pass, I'd say Zelalem has been our best player.
Him, Miller and Wallace are the only ones to get anything near pass marks for that first half.
