  1. I'm swinging round to the idea that Broner just isn't that good. Unless he's fighting Maidana again I've no interest in watching him fight. Usually a loud mouth boxer will have something to give in the ring, whether that be through skill or just being an exciting fighter to watch, Broner gives neither.
  2. Find it really hard to care about the Ward-Smith fight. Broner-Porter would have been better had it been at 147 instead of this daft catchweight nonsense that seems to be rife in the sport just now. Porter began his career at something like 165lbs, so just wonder if 144 is a step too far. Hopefully Porter knocks him out, but can see Broner sneaking a decision.
  3. Hope Groves knocks him out but can't see it. Reckon Froch gets to him in rounds 10-12.
  4. Hopefully Groves wins. Froch is a cunt.
  5. Once Mayweather adjust's to Khan's speed I think he walks it. It's not speed that troubles Floyd, it's constant pressure, eg Castillo, Cotto and Maidana.
  6. Also, I hope Tyson Fury gets sparked the fuck out and fucks off out of the sport for good. Horrible cunt.
  7. Ok, some thoughts: Thought Khan looked good last night; was a must win fight on a big stage and he delivered. Sure Collazo is older than when Hatton fought him, but very few fighters really dominate him like that. Didn't like Khan's holding, but if the referee isn't going to stop him then he's within his right to keep doing it if it's working for him. Would like to see him have another fight at 147 before securing the Floyd fight. Mayweather won in my eyes (116-112 is what I had), but it wasn't one of his better nights. Needed to use his legs more than he did, but credit to Maidana for not letting him and making it a competitive fight. For the most part, I felt Floyd landed the cleaner and better punches all night with Maidana working more and looking busy. And even when Maidana had him trapped on the ropes, Floyd gave as good as he got when on the inside - such an underrated facet of his game. Easy to forget how comfortable Floyd is on the inside. I can see how some had the fight a draw and don't have a problem with it, but I can't make a case for Maidana winning. And I don't think Floyd even enters the discussion as GOAT. He'll certainly go down in history as one of the best, but doesn't come close to being THE best.
  8. When Floyd moved up to 147 he became safety first and focused much more on his defence. For that reason I doubt we see him knock anyone out in the remaining four fights of his career. Well, actually, he may KO Khan if he really wants to. Thing is with Floyd, when you watch him have his own way with fighters, you get the impression that he could knock them out, but he chooses not to. The Floyd of 130/135 was a beast.
  9. I came away thinking the same. I'm certainly not buying all the talk of Manny being "back".
  10. I thought the first 6 rounds were pretty close and Bradley was doing well, boxing and working well to the body, then he just seemed to neglect all that and look for one big shot.
  11. Pacquiao beats Bradley in the rematch. Decent fight.
  12. Other way around I think; Hearn won't be putting Quigg in with Frampton any time soon.
  13. I think his exposure is fine. Sells out arena's and he was trending on twitter after the fight, so people are watching him.
  14. I don't mind if it is. Rather see Klitschko fight Chisora or Fury than the likes of Lepai.
  15. But if the request for it to be an official eliminator is granted, and with Chisora being ranked number 2, should Chisora win he would more than likely become mandatory. If Klitschko can fight Lepai and Pianeta he can sure as hell fight Chisora or Fury.
