Charlie Telfer will decide this week whether to return to Rangers for the new season or pursue a move to Dundee United. The midfielder is out of contract at Ibrox and had been the subject of a £60,000 bid from United last season, an offer which was rejected at the time. The 18-year-old had been occupied by involvement with the Scotland Under-19 side who were left deflated at the bottom of their Euro Elite group this week, but he is now free to decide his future. Were he to seek a move to Tannadice then a tribunal would decide the fee. "I want to play football and that will be no different if I move on or if I stay," said Telfer. "I need to go home and have a long hard think about what's best for me. My aim for next season is to push for first-team football, wherever I am."

Might be something in the Allan one, he's on loan at Birmingham but doesn't even get in the squad. They also tried to send him back to WBA in jan but they refused to let them shorten loan. Clearly doesn't have a future with them if they are willing to let him waste a season. Personally I'd be quite happy with him signing for us.

Will today be classed as his debut or will it be the first game after he's registered?

I'm not as up on the youth teams as I'd like to be, but just wondered whether we have any exciting prospects in our youth teams. I've heard of the young goalkeeper that was linked with man utd and man city last season, mcrorie I think it is? Is there any other young bears to keep an eye out for in the coming seasons?

If its up front hopefully it's not as a pair with daly coz there's no pace at all. At the moment tho he would have to be cb, until we sign anyone else. Im not sure there's a place for him tbh and with the players we have for cm I really hope it's not there coz he doesn't have the legs anymore

He said the too three were Crawford, faure and Hutton. Either everyone came back a fat mess or faure and Hutton have knuckled down and made an effort in the close season!

Hopefully it's ends back at us and then he won't have any reason to leave coz he's been everywhere

Matt McKay springs to mind We have foster cole argy and Mitchell for rb, it wouldn't surprise me to see perry shoehorned at rb to accommodate jig and emilson at cb, he seems to like for and for what reason I will never understand

Was said that hearts haven't registered him yet and he's technically still on loan until his contracts up. Hearts have now been given a signing ban so it looks like he's on the lookout for another club But tbf, I would take him back. Still young with potential, and also would have a sell on fee. He took a risk in signing for a massive club, it's not like he went to a sheff weds, bolton or stoke. That risk backfired but as has been said, the money we got went towards jelavic and losing Wilson didn't affect our team.

Seen a few posts on twitter this morning so take it with a pinch of salt, that Tom hateley will begin talks with us on the 10th and has indicated through his dad that he is keen to sign for us (who could blame him) I personally think he would be a good signing, we are in desperate need of someone who can take a decent set piece. Remember a few seasons ago when scum signed him that leaves his kids in his car we were linked with him and wasn't happy about it, but he's definitely improved and brought something to their team. I think that TH could bring the same versatility and expertise from dead ball situations that he does. Our corners and free kicks are dreadful. Just my opinion obvs, your thoughts?
