I'm slightly concerned tbh. The Morelos issue needs sorted very quickly. Certainly seems like he wants to go and the club have barely mentioned him on social media. We cannot go into this season with Defoe as second choice let alone first choice striker imo. We need to get a quality player in.
We need a right forward who will score goals. A box to box midfielder and a defensive midfielder all of starting quality. We also need cover at full back and now cb.
The taigs seem to have financial issues and haven't signed anyone, but if we go with the same players as last season it's hard to imagine the end result will be different.

My mates dad was one of the 66. Some of the stories I've heard about that day are too horrible to write down on here.
Folk always seem to forget the first time fans died at our stadium too.
These tragedies did lead to us having one of the best and safest stadiums in the UK so there was a silver lining.

RIP to every fan who lost their lives going to watch their team.

The taigs try to say that Bill Struth murdered him so he could become manager. Obviously that is bullshit, I couldn't believe it when I first read that when researching the accident.
I know the waters around Gourock really well and it does seem a strange place to die, it's not exactly the high seas but the fishermen who died there a couple of years back and the overturned boat that still sticks out the water to this day prove that it's a very dangerous piece of water despite not looking like if is.
All water is dangerous, no matter your experience.  All it takes is a lack of judgement or complacency and you can have an accident which can easily kill you.
Always be careful when on the water, never underestimate its power.

    McGregor
New RB      New CB       Katic/Helander  Barasic
                    Jack/aribo    new midfield destroyer
            New RW             Hagi             Kent
                                         Morelos

Don't see the need for two attacking fullbacks so sell Tav, get a hard cunt in the middle who folk are scared of, new CB to replace Goldson, aribo and Jack are creative/tidy enough in the middle. The rest can go or squad rotate

Two greatest legends of our club.
Don't know how Tom Vallance doesn't at least have a stand named after him. We should name the Copland after him for our 150yr celebration.

Barcelona are trying to sell all but 6 players and Real Madrid are trying to replace players with celtic players and their league is starting back up soon.
    Just saying.

The players have contracts. They're entitled to it. If the club want / need the savings then we sell them.
What if players can get the same salary elsewhere, why would any player remain at a club unless it suits their individual circumstances . Take it you're then have a go at them for not showing loyalty.
Who the fuck are you to say what players can or cant afford?

‘’Thus ended their first match played at the latter end of May 1872 some two months after the inauguration of the club’’.
The words of Rangers player William Dunlop from his article The Rangers FC which he wrote so eloquently for the SFA Annual in 1881 using the pen name ‘True Blue’.
Rangers Football Club played it’s first ever match 148 years ago this week.
Our Club was formed on a spare bit of ground at Fleshers Haugh by a few kids who’d come to Glasgow seeking employment and a better way of life.Their Club ,which they formed for no other reason than the love of football and the pursuit of sporting excellence, would go on to become the world’s most successful.
That first ever match was against Callander and ended 0-0, Willie continued,
“Their first game was a terrible spectacle with  the ball suffering an incredible amount of abuse” William McBeath was given man of the match and then spent a week in bed recovering due to his exertions’’
Founder William McBeath was from Callander and we believe it would have been Willie who approached ex-pats from the town who had settled in Glasgow and that’s probably where the opposition came from for our first match.
Willie’s Rangers team-mate Sam Ricketts wrote in 1884 about the boys playing those first few games in their civvies and journalist John Allan wrote about them having to change behind a bush as there were no facilities.
William Dunlop described how genial Peter McNeil would travel on a Saturday morning to a desirable part of the Glasgow Green, set up the noted standards and stand guard until the classic hour came when he would be joined by his friends. We felt this was a very dramatic and moving image and commissioned a painting to be done depicting this scene. We presented the painting by artist Helen Runciman to the Club in 2009 and it now hangs on the marble staircase at Ibrox.
The Rangers would remain at Fleshers Haugh for three years. We then began our journey around Glasgow to Burnbank and Kinning Park before finally settling in the Ibrox area in 1887 where we would grow to become the world’s most successful football club.

There’s a generation of fans who instead of saying “Remember when we won the league at Rugby Park?” Or “Mind we won the League Cup with 9 men?” will be saying “Remember Ejaria’s goal against Ufa?” and “I was there the day we won at celtic park on the 29th”.

We need a trophy like never before. Otherwise we’re nothing. 😕

The flats look nice and they do look like the brick that is used in the main stand.

But its their position that I have a problem with.  We wont be able to see our stadium from anywhere unless you are actually going to it. I always enjoy having a look over to see the stadium when I pass it on the motorway. That will no longer be possible should this go ahead.  I would be wanting a minimum of £100,000k profit per flat minimum to lose that view.

Is this going to make it impossible to see the stadium when you're driving along the motorway?
If we still own that ground and we can get 100k a flat, that's the only way I would support this

Should we not have told them to shove their offer up their own arses....kindly citing their refusal to allow to have a fan zone....tit for tat and all that

Utter stupidity to allow this to happen, you are sacrificing car parking spaces, you are adding hundreds of new residents to the area who will then be in a position to lodge complaints should the club apply to do anything at the ground, or wider area. This project needs to be binned, you should never sell land around your stadium.
