Totaly different team.

He’s barely had a run in a piss poor team and needs a run of games and a proper crack it. Doesnt have the delivery of Barasic but took more men on last night than Barasic has all season, and will improve. “Too wee” is 1970’s stuff ffs.

EPL clubs could have signed him for nothing in the Summer and he ended signing for us because he wanted first team football. If he goes back to England in January, then it’s going to be for the money, because like I’ve said I don’t think a good six months for us is enough for him to go back down the road and displace the majority of keepers in the EPL as a first choice.
But a good two seasons might be enough?

Because he ultimately wasn’t good enough to become first choice for Crystal Palace but he ticked a box for the homegrown quota at Man Utd for little financial output. I suspect you already know that yourself though so I’m not sure why you need to be sarcastic about it.
Do you think he would displace many keepers in the PL on the basis of a good six months in Scotland, and if so who, because Foderingham and possibly Kaminski aside I can’t think of another that he would.
Was he not first choice at Stoke? While they were in the Premier League?
I’m not being sarcastic, he was at Man U for half a season and was on the bench about 25times, so i’m not following the “there’s a reason he ended up a non playing 3rd choice” statement, and thats why I asked.
He’s 30 years old. I’m not saying he’d walk into every team in the Premier League but from what we’ve seen so far, i dont think he’d look out of place in a large number of those teams. -

Don’t think he would be a number one for many EPL clubs and the ones where he would be aren’t going to double his wage to allow them to do that.
He’s excellent for us, but there’s a reason he ended up as the non playing third choice keeper for Man Utd.
Enlighten us please

"He's got such composure" from Tam on a night he's had 3 sitters
I'm delighted he's scored, but that's pish Tam
I think he meant that particular finish, which to be fair showed great composure.

Actually been decent tonight. Seeing his style starting to show.

Honkin team on paper but the Manager only has the players he’s inherited and i’m going to be a bit wild here and trust his judgement.

Uninspiring lineup shite pitch shite weather. Beale has a fucking lot to answer for.
Will take a one nill win shite game right now.
Btw Lammers. What is it managers actually see in this guy?
He sees him training every day there must be something there.

Not on here there wasn't. Search for Ridvan or Yilmaz at the time the squad was announced and it barely warrants a mention. A few folk surprised and that's about as much dissent as it got.
Other than the excuse of him potentially just recovering from injury, i’d say a large portion of fans and members questioned why one of our most expensive ever full backs could make a European Squad. Perhaps not quite dissent levels, but it brought about some raised eyebrows and led to Beale explaining how Uefa took 10days to announce the squads and that Yilmaz wasnt “knocking out the games”. He went on to explain how he had a bright future at the club in reply to speculation he was going back to Turkey

What a pass by Cantwell - he has to keep taking up positions high up the pitch centrally like that.
Ridiculous pass mate, as Macleod said he’s about the only person in the stadium that saw. And by the way, superb finish.
