The more I think about the prospect of GVB becoming manager, the more excited I’m getting about the remainder of this season.

Probably THE Rangers player who went on to have the best career post Ibrox over the last 40 years. extensive playing and managerial experience has lived and loved life in Glasgow not in gainful employment at the mo so available immediately, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a poll where more than 80% of bears on RM want the same man. It’s now over to the board to get it done.

Honestly as long as Tav stays I'm okay with the other 2 going. We played our best football of the season those half a dozen games before Killie on the last day of the season and that was without Morelos. As far as Kent goes, he was brilliant for us but outwith the Old Firm games I don't think he was as important as Tav or Arfield were to the team and we have other players in that position to replace him.

Donaire the Bear! Hope he beats Inoue but unfortunately I can't see it happening. The Donaire of 6 years ago against the current Inoue would be a fight for the ages though.

Been following this thread for a while and thought i would give a honest opinion on what I have seen of Rossiter
I have been at every game Jordan has played and he has been absolute class for us. Reads the game brilliantly and his positional awareness is fantastic, got a great engine on him and despite only being small in stature he is rock solid in the tackle. He breaks up play very well and has provided a defensive shield we was missing. If he can stay fit you potentially have a serious player on your hands
Comparisons to Gerrard are way off though, totally different players. SG was a box to box savage and had everything, Rossiter on the other hand is very defensive minded. He is not going to be spreading 50 yard balls and creating much but as a defensive midfielder he is everything you want
I cant say if he is good enough for Rangers or what you need in midfield but he is far to good for league two in England. Would comfortably be a solid Championship midfielder IMO
I had a quick chat with him after we won promotion at Tranmere ( he was immense again and probably had his best game for us) and he seems to have his heart set on going back to Glasgow injury free and making a good go of it. He actually said he owes Rangers after the way he has been treated up there on and off the pitch. He could not have spoke higher about Rangers than what he did. Lovely down to earth lad aswel

And yet many people still don't think their are bargains or class players to be had in the spfl. I will state just now, if given a run Jordan jones will have a similar sort of impact and surprise many of the guys who are doubting why we signed him

We probably know he isn't our first choice left back going forward but he puts in a shift and deserves the shirt just now.
Another one like Andy Halliday who has went away and fought for his Rangers career and is reaping the rewards. Any player who can do that get's respect in my book.

Aye with hindsight his career didn’t pan out the way it should but at the time him and Mexes were considered the best 2 young defenders in Europe. I was mad into football at the time, used to buy World Soccer every month and kept up with all the major leagues and I remember being absolutely shocked we’d managed to sign him.
