There's no player that I think... "Oh he's useless..." But it wouldn't sadden me for us to move some of these boys on. Finish the season unbeaten and hopefully see a bit of movement. I do think Davis and Kamara have been brilliant, but sometimes (tonight) we absolutely need a midfielder to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. A real goal threat type. I wonder if that was meant to be Aribo but he's so hit and miss. Itten and Hagi for me are in the same bracket and to be honest... Probably more so... Wouldn't be sad for us to sell them for the right fee. Think Scott Wright has shown he should start the remaining games. Also feel that while he's probably not the long term answer... Greg Stewart hasn't let us down and could have been brought on tonight and maybe made a difference..

Not going to go in too harsh here. The key objective of this season was 55. We delivered that. Unbelievable consistency in the league and a tremendous defensive record. Fantastic in Europe too and we beat some really good sides. There is no doubt Gerrard has improved us year on year. The cups have been disappointing and while I feel both st mirren and st johnstone were on decent form at the time we faced them, (St Johnstone in particular have been really good the last 3-6 months) we didn't perform anywhere near the expected levels. I have at points praised our team and squad and often believed we've got quality in the first team and the bench... I now have this feeling that I've been a wee bit kind to some of our players. Especially up top/midfield. I think we need investment as at times we look a bit one dimensional/predictable. We have some players who at points have been great in Kent/Aribo/Hagi... Have they been consistent enough? We've also got Davis and Kamara who have been tremendous all season... But don't offer a lot in terms of goal threat. The likes of Jack and Arfield who have had injury problems. Up top Morelos is still the main man, although a different role to previous years. Roofe has had some decent spells and Ittens shown the odd glimpse. Defoe while clinical, isn't getting any younger. I'd say we look a worse side when Morelos comes out the side.. which considering the players mentioned is worrying. Are we lacking a wee bit in these areas or am I thinking the worst after a disappointing night?

Are you kidding it? Can't go wrong with the Nintendo games, mario, Zelda, mario kart, metroid, Luigis mansion etc Sure I liked red steel for the Wii and xiii for the gamecube as random shouts

If you're struggling with retropie. Maybe try batocera... More menu options to make it a bit easier to use.. Let me know if your struggling because if you want to get started I'll help you out.

The only other thing you might need is a keyboard for setting up WiFi and initial games. Your controllers aren't ones I've used (although I've heard good things) my first reaction was when you plug in - it should ask you to configure them at set up and should be straight forward Have had a read of the page below https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Logitech-Controller/ Talks about d-input and the need for further config if you have 2 controllers set up that way. I'm not sure if that's still relevant, but if it is, I think it will be an easy fix. Your other wired controllers should be straight forward I believe. PS1 games can take up a fare bit of memory, depending on game, so I guess its a case of working out how many games you want. I don't know how easy it is to separate games from sd to usb... However I know its easy to setup usb storage, the pi4 also has usb boot as well, which I've not used as I have an SD card, but its another option to look at. You could also get a smaller SD card and use usb storage to store all your games

Ask away mate, I've got a pi 4 - 4gb. (8gb wasn't out at the time) 4gb runs everything up to psx flawlessly. I'd say a lot of psp, Dreamcast and n64 run pretty well too now. Got some Saturn games working and playing about with a couple of pc games like rollercoaster Tycoon. No idea about psp or Vita emulation, but redream works rest well on retropie on the pi4

Hints already posted about ROMs. In the comments above. There's no real benefit of getting the 8gb right now, but for the cost difference makes sense as it may in future offer benefits. What playstation controller are you using? I've heard PS4 work fine. I Use a PS3 controller that works likes like a dream wirelessly. Also recommend looking at 8bitdo controllers if your looking for something for smaller hands

Beat me to it. Literally said the same thing. The 8gb feels like it's beneficial if you use the pi as an is watching YouTube etc rather than retropie. I used Lego for my first case. I used a flirc case for the 3b which was good. Don't actually have a case for the 4 yet so need to look at that.

If your looking for those a pi3b will work fine, N64 and Dreamcast are better on a pi4 if you want to look at those. They released a pi4 with 8gb of ram too. although I'm not sure how much benefit that will bring. The pi 4 4gb has a noticeable difference in Dreamcast and psp emulation in particular imo. If I was buying today, I'd buy the 8gb, but that's based on Dreamcast etc and me wanting the best of the best. If you only need up to psx, and no Dreamcast or N64 any version will be fine. The documents and support on the retropie is excellent. If you can't find the answer or need a hand give me a shout. Took me a while to get used to it, but I've set up a few for mates etc.

Make sure your games are named like Game_Disk1.adf Game_Disk2.adf If you do this the second disk should be inserted. You can also zip them together into a single file.

Def best to stay away from 3rd party images imo. Get loads of things you might not want or need. It's taken me a while to get used to it, but If you need a hand mate give me a shout, I've managed to add lots of systems including steam link. I've scraped all consoles with videos. Added background music, a video splash screen, added rollercoaster Tycoon to the pi. Chose a theme... Hid a lot of the boot text, enabled loading ROMs from a Nas and added launching images. By no means an expert, but I love being able to customise it and choose my own preferences

Love retropie. How did you get on?

In his spell on loan be played 19 games (18 starts) scored 5 and set up 10 goals I thought I'd compare those to Ojo so far this season. Ojo has played 11 games (9 as a starter) scored 4 and set up 4. Interesting that these guys get a hard time, but numbers wise they are directly involved in a lot of goals for us. Personally I really like Murphy, think it will be difficult for him to come back from such a long term injury. As for Ojo, I think we've seen fleeting moments from him this far. There was one game in Europe he was immense. I have thought at times he's not been great at games, but have noticed him pop up with a goal or assist (like at the weekend) which has helped us. I didn't think much of Kent when he first arrived here so I hope Ojo can develop the same way Kent has 👍

First off love that you start off with a. Reminder of the thing you don't want to be reminded of. Secondly, the sfas problems whilst being self inflicted, is not caused by us or the decisions they made against us. Footballs a changed game with TV money, Scotland in general haven't kept up, that was the case long before we went down. If the sfa had brought in/kept the right men in charge, they'd be doing a lot better. Not sure what the ally point is, I'd argue Kyle and black weren't has beens, they were just shite (especially black) could have brought through youth. Yeah he could have. Not sure we'd have changed the national team in anyway by doing that. Even the best two of the youths that did make it during that spell (McKay and MacLeod) aren't at that level.. I lost interest in watching Scotland a long time ago and honestly seeing our players called up just makes me concerned that they'll get injured.

I've had a wee nosey and watched this video. My early feedback is I'm not sure what your channel brings. You seem like a pleasant guy (I'm guessing it's you in the video) giving your thoughts on things.. I'm not seeing whats different from other gets podcasts going on at the moment? I'm also not the grammar or spelling police, but the video annoyed me with little mistakes. Like the sky sports bulletin style thing at the bottom. Had something like "no Jordan Jones in there or Andy firth and also Brandon Barker has been named in the squad no place for grezda or Murphy or Docherty" It could have said something like "Jones, Firth, Murphy and Docherty don't make the squad, but Brandon Barker has made the cut" I know that in the last round there was talk of Helander not making the cut, but changes could be made up to a day before the first match... I'm guessing that's not the case this time? As if changes can be made... I'm not sure why you'd make a video on this... Anyway I don't want to be too critical as this is clearly new. You've clearly done some work to promote the channel and well done on getting the subscribers you have today, I'll keep an eye on this to see how this is going.

I think there is a difference between McGregor and Jones challenges. McGregor missed the ball and brought arfield doen. Jones was 100% pure malice and was going in aiming to get the boy and hurt him. At the time I thought McGregor's was a booking. Couldn't really complain about Jones's red card. That being said, McGregor also blatently dived after this.. so I'm looking forward to the compliance officer handing out a retrospective ban 🙄🤔

He's won 12 on the bounce prior to this.. he's accepted his share of the responsibility, but he's also right. We've seen the likes of Kamara, defoe, jack, arfield, tav, and aribo all have much better games that that. Other than defoe, not sure the others can use the tactics as an excuse

Not sure I would say they were the dominant team, we had 60% possession. The problem is we did nothing with it. We must have had some number of crosses into the box that Julien mopped up. (Terrible plan when our striker is about half his size) I dont recall McGregor having a save to make prior to their goal? So it was very much a level game at that time. As the game went on they had more chances and deserved to win, but they didn't dominate the game. I don't think that's accurate anyway.
