  1. That’s it sorted!! Covid awarded them the league because they were 10 points (net) clear. Seeing we are the same now, they should just hand us number 55 now.

  2. Unbelievable scenes at Ibrox last night. Comparing this with Edu's goal had me reminiscing of great Ibrox nights, and I'll never forget the noise when we beat Kiev Dynamo in the European Cup. It was the loudest I had ever heard then. Kuznetsov and Mickhailchenko signed for us after that. I vaguely remember there were 100,000 at the first leg in Ukraine. More nights like this coming soon I hope.
  3. maybe for you, not for me. i think we can live with that.
  4. KeyserSoze, maybe so, but I know who I follow and have done for 57 years now. (since my first game). Was at Marseille 1992 and got chucked out of the Ultras end by the Gendarmerie because of my Rangers top. I was there with two French guys and we got put in the cage with the rest of the Rangers fans.
  5. Well I do. My rugby mates call me that too.
  6. it came up on auto correct when I typed it in. Through and through btw
  7. Minority sport compared to Football for sure, but if you are involved in the clubs, its part of your life. I've been to France over 40 times with rugby related piss ups. Been tours all over Europe too. Fkn amazing times if you are involved. I'm sure its the same travelling with the Gers. Everyone is different.
  8. I went to my first Rangers game with my Dad in 1961 V Dundee. Had a season ticket for 13 years starting when Souness first came to the club. My passion is rugby and played the sport for 29 years. I go to all the Scotland rugby matches home and away and support the Glasgow Warriors. I do not watch any football unless Rangers are playing. I got my season ticket after getting injured at rugby, which was a good option. Having been fortunate enough to watch the genius of Gascoigne for all these years, it was a golden era. I subsequently got back playing rugby but kept my season ticket on until the marriage split up. I rarely miss a Rangers match if I can watch it on RTV or Premier sports or whatever. I couldn't tell you the names of any of the players in the English Premiership teams because I am not in the least bit interested. Stopped my Sky subscription 20 years ago, because it was nothing but football. I cannot look at celtic and those fucking hoops. Make me boak. The only time I have ever watched them play is against the mighty Rangers. I don't think I am alone in this. Several Glasgow warriors fans that I know are the same. If you are born in Glasgow, you are either a H** or a tim, simple as that. #55here wecome
  9. Davis is the best player we have right now imo. The people who knocked him last season are probably related to the people who knocked Mark Hately and Jonas Thern, when, like Davis, arrived not match fit and took a wee while to get going. Thern, with about 100 caps for Sweden got booed loudly. Hately was the same. It’s amazing how we are so critical. We expect everything immediately. Barisic is another one. I was at the game where he played against us with the bandage around his head. He was head and shoulders above anyone on the park that night, and probably why SG signed him. Then the boo boys get on his back. Give these guys a chance, he will be awesome for us.
  10. Undoubted genius of a player. Flawed genius too. Alcoholism and two liver transplants eventually killed him. George Best and later on Paul Gascoigne went down (and Gazza still going down) the same route. Were there ever more skillful players in Scottish football? (Ok Best late in his career with Hibs). They were just better than anyone round about them. I wonder just how good these guys would have been if they were tee-total?
  11. He was only here for a few months, but he arguably made the best signings of our current squad. Ryan Jack, Daniel Candeias and Alfredo Morelos have been outstanding for us. Add in Graeme Dorrans and you can see that the wee Mexican had a good eye for talent. Of course, Stevie G has motivated them and taken them to a new level. Kudos where it is due.
  12. Apart from the fact he comes from the dark side, he is an ugly wee bastard and does not make for good tv.
  13. 13th August 2017. New look Rangers team get a player sent off v Hibs and end up losing 2-1. 9th August 1986. New look rangers team get their captain, Souness sent off v Hibs and end up losing 2-1. Rangers won the league that season.
  14. Billy Dodds, Richard Gough, Elephant man, Ian Redford, big Drunken Fergusson all saw the light. I wonder what they are all thinking now hehe
