  1. Hibs putting 4 past us? Turgid draws against annans montroses and cowdenbeaths? Obviously got a very short memory.
  2. Point taken about national team but realistically the stronger/ more entertaining the whole league is the more TV money we'll land.
  3. Results since we got promoted haven't been great, to be fair many of the performances leave a lot to be desired as well BUT Warburton has to work with the budget he is given. With the amount of ST's sold I'm sure we all would like to have seen King spend more but then if we live outside our means with no ucl money and a poor tv deal then we end up in debt again. At least the way both the old firm play now, might trickle down to smaller teams and make the entire spfl brand more attractive, maybe the next deal will be slightly better. Maybe eventually the national team improves as a result. Warburton is still the man to take us forward. Would Smith, McInnes, Cathro or McCall have built a better squad in the time warbs has had, with his budget? No. Would the gap both financially and squad wise between us and celtic be the same? Yes. It's shit losing to celtic. I hate it. But it's after games like this it's easiest to be rash. Warburton and Weir have been tasked with dragging the club into the 21st century on a very limited budget and probably the most demanding fans in the world. But there are signs they're getting it right. Look where we were a couple years ago with a team of had beens playing out draws to alloa and Cowdenbeath in front on 18000, or the playoff games against motherwell. Compare to the youthful squad we have now playing brave attacking football, yes we have frailties but so do all teams. We as fans maybe arent used to seeing rangers this weak defensively but we need to be patient and support the team now more so than ever. If you need to take a couple days to be angry about how kings shafting us and the manager and players are duds then that's totally fine, but please be ready to get behind them again by Wednesday evening..
  4. In my short time on the planet it's a toss up between Cuellar and Amoruso. Cuellar was more solid but Amoruso was entertaining as fuck.
  5. Although we walked the championship that was more to do with hibs bottling it. Never been one to wax lyrical about Warburton or King but if both want the continued support of the fans then they need to buck up their ideas big style. If we can see where the problems lie then so can they...
  6. Brutal! Shouldn't be losing a game where you're 2-0 up at any level really. Everyone eased off after we went two up and in the end we got what we deserved for our complacency! At least we're doing everything we can to stop hivs finishing 2nd..
  7. Cheers mate ??Got 10-1 at 450/1 in the end.
  8. Anyone know where I can stick Rangers to score 9 or more goals tomorrow on? I dreamed we won 10-1 last night, and if we did and I didn't have a few quid on it I'd never forgive myself! Live out in the country and the nearest bookie shops a 2 hour drive so it'll need to be online or over the phone. Cheers
  9. Ian Black! Really dislike Law aswell! Can see he's good for us going forward but anytime we lose possession you can see him trotting back, not giving a fuck about his defensive duties and that irks me to fuck. Also first few games inc. the Newcastle friendly at home he was immense but then he used to hide away from the ball and never show for it. Think it boils down to his attitude.
  10. Hopefully you're at it? Either that or you're just spouting pish purely for the sake of it. Eustace was dutd young player of the year in his season there!
  11. Mathematically it's possible but I think hibs will be favourites and we will be battling for the playoffs.
  12. My primary concern is who is going to want to join us in the summer? At least when we went down to div3 there was a buzz and optimism and genuine belief we would win all three leagues and challenge cups- that buzz is long gone and this embarrassing defeat has only damaged our reputation further. No player will pick us over the sheep or Dundee hibs and if he does he needs his head checked. Only thing we have over these clubs to sign players is a bigger wage budget and even at the moment that is uncertain. Hopefully King spends big and not in the form of "loans" either like T3B. It's do or die in the next 2 months and arguably the biggest close season in our history!
  13. Time we left all this mccoist shit in the past. He brought a lot of these boys in but McCall has had a few months and they're still not trying so the blame rests firmly with the players and the buck has to stop there not with the manager who brought them in. We'll never move forward as a club if we keep looking backwards - all we can hope is its the end of the "old pals" tradition that has most likely held us back for years
  14. Watching this game, there is not one player bar maybe Miller Walsh and Murdoch that deserve to be here next season. Law, Zal and Cammy Bell have been particularly disgraceful! The one game you expect the players to turn up and it's just the same old Turgid punt up the park shite. McCall isn't fit for the job either, total rebuild job needed in the summer.
  15. Does Saturdays suspension mean he is now eligible to play both legs in the final?
  16. Hardie for me. Clark proved today he isn't going to cut the mustard for us. Wouldn't get a sniff against most of the SPL's stronger sides. Plenty endeavour but no end product.
  17. Can't speak for everyone but I find that my love for Rangers FC outweighs my disparity with the political views of the majority of fans. When I go to Ibrox Politics is at the very back of my mind - I'm there to support the 11 men on the park just as my old man did and his old man and most likely his old man.
  18. Accepted it quite some time ago amigo. Still doesn't mean I have to agree with any of those ideologies. Loved the club when I was a boy before I really understood about Rangers fans historic affiliation with unionism, monarchy etc and I love them just as much today, even though I don't share in those beliefs. Maybe you should accept not all fans are unionists?
  19. Go to all home games myself, in sept I voted yes and voted SNP today - really shouldn't matter though cause your political/religious views really shouldn't determine the team you support. And Bears shouldn't be turning on each other as a result of political or religious views either!
  20. Worth pointing out that you can buy a royal blue one as well, if your only gripe is with the colours..
