Believe it or not but he actually dominated that game and the likes of keane, beckham and scholes were were on the pitch. That was probably the start of the big money premier league starting to dominate. I was only a young'n but was thinking 'We've taken a player off Rangers' I couldn't have imagined that before then.

Thats a really good insight mate, thankyou. I just hope he can use his experience to get Jermaine Defoe facing the opposition goal in the final third. That way I'd be confident of us nicking a few home wins and enough points to keep our heads above water. We've got some tricky away games away to top 4 teams when we're going to have to be able to defend. I just hope he can set up a team to do this.

I went on the drink with some Ayr Lads (Rangers fans) who were out in blackpool on there way to pre season match at hillsborough a couple of years ago, great banter. It reminded me a lot of the fans in the north East of england.

Sunderland fan here. Sorry to bother you. You have even more problems than ourselves which is quite an achievement! What can we expect from Dick Advocaat? Is he a good man manager? Can he be a fire fighter and get us out the shit? I understand he will take over until the end of the season. We really need an impact manager. I hope you get sorted out soon, its worrying that this can happen to one of the top 5 biggest clubs in the UK.
