He wasn't even outsmarted by Lennon today. Any average fan could have named their team today, their set up. SG levelled himself. He was seeing ghosts that didn't exist. Threats that weren't really there. When I saw that we were starting without any real penetrating wingers to attack their weaknesses at full back, I was completely dumbfounded. Flooding the midfield didn't see like that bad an idea to get in behind their front 4. But giving how we done them twice last year, not to go toe to toe with them proved fatal an a huge mistake. They didn't outplay us today, the middle of the park was like a pinball machine because it was overrun by overthinking tactics. We had zero width and it proved costly. Mind you, when we see how poor Ojo actaully was, it's no wonder he didn't fancy starting him.

They have changed their rules this year, that the club can "invite free of charge children up to the age of 14 from schools or football academies to attend matches to be played behind closed doors". So although, still not great for the real fan, I don't think the stadiums will be completely empty. But the atmosphere will be dreadful for sure and I don't see 50,000 u14's turning up on a Thursday night.

Anybody else think that the delay by the club after the first charge was so they could get the 'Everyone, Anyone' initiative off the ground. Step 10 in UEFA's 10 point action plan for clubs to combat racism.... 10. Work with all other groups and agencies, such as the players union, supporters, schools, voluntary organisations, youth clubs, sponsors, local authorities, local businesses and police, to develop pro-active programmes and make progress to raise awareness of campaigning to eliminate racial abuse and discrimination.

He had a knee injury that kept him out for ten games with Hibs. Defoe has suffered much worse. Aribo missed 9 games last season with a knee problem.
