  1. я не жевот в руссий What is it you do by the way? You seem to end up all over the globe. Also according to this there are loads of bears living in Russia.
  2. If you do put something in latin on it then make sure it's actually correct, not a google translate job. Google translate is very unreliable. Would be awful to have a grammatically incorrect flag. EDIT: Since Latin has such complicated grammar, it's unlikely that google translate will have any success translating anything more than single words. I suspect that's what you've done, since "Quaerebant occidere, sed non" is the exact phrase you get when you put "They tried to kill us, but failed" into google translate. However, when you feed the latin phrase back in it comes out as "Tried to kill, but not" Sort of brings this to mind:
  3. God, coming in and buying a ticket to the Rangers game. He really got one over us there.
  4. Would go with this, assuming Wilson is back. Foderingham Tavernier Kiernan Wilson Wallace Barton Rossiter Forrester O'Halloran McKay Dodoo
  5. Bad for us I'd say. We struggled to break down Hamilton yesterday, and this gives us less space to pass around in, and lets their defence sit deep and stay compact more easily.
  6. Poor performance. If we're going to defend from the front then we can't have any passengers, and that's exactly what an unfit Kranjčar was. Unless he can massively improve his fitness levels then we've got a dud there. Not much can be said about Hill and Kiernan, they're simply not good enough. I do rate Wilson, but we need someone good alongside him. As always we were very predictable in our play and constantly vulnerable to counter attacks. Suppose I should look for some positives though. I thought Barton looked very good, and Forrester gave us something totally different when he came on, shown by the goal. I think it's imperative that him and MOH start the next game though, Miller and Kranjčar both offered nothing today. Would start Dodoo and Rossiter as well. This was an opportunity to set the bar for the season, and we failed miserably. On to the next game now, hopefully will be a big improvement.
  7. My Dad's worked with McGregor a bit in the oil rig drydock in the Cromarty firth and apparently he's not great to work with. Good presbyterian man though, an elder in the Free Church I believe. Certainly not part of the cabal. As for his comments about the way Rangers had behaved, considering who was in charge of us at that time and how they were behaving, it does seem to be a fair comment. Ross County weren't in the SPL at the time.
  8. iirc there's one there's one that leaves from the Rosevale in Partick. You could try in there. I could be way off the mark though, so probably better to confirm with someone who knows more than I.
  9. A new striker would be good, but not essential. If we want to get anywhere this year we *need* to sign a new centre half.
  10. Barely took 10 seconds to do, hardly went out of my way to do it. Besides, why not focus on the rest of my post, with special focus on the last few words?
  11. I was criticising the ruining of a trivia thread, not the sourcing of information from the internet. Even if he had written them down from memory (or as it turned out, a sheet of paper on which he had it all written down) it would still have ruined the trivia part of the thread.
  12. It looks like you've totally misunderstood the point there. Copying and pasting a list of people who've scored 100 goals or over for Rangers in the second post of a trivia thread trying to name all those players completely defeats the purpose of the thread. I wasn't criticising the fact that he got the information from the internet and not his memory
  13. This. I think a massive part of the holding midfield role is covering space vacated by the wing backs. It's something that I don't think Andy Halliday is good at, which often leaves us exposed at the back after Halliday makes his own runs forward.
  14. What brought that on? Did I do something to offend you?
  15. You always hear of severely autistic people having one incredible skill, like playing the piano by ear or doing complicated arithmetic in their heads. He could be an Idiot Savant who has an incredible memory for Rangers related trivia.
  16. Well, when you're right you're right. Fair enough then. So where was the quiz? Would love a Rangers pub quiz.
  17. Well I mean copying it and pasting if from somewhere anyway, I don't imagine you reeled that list off from the top of your head.
  18. Copying and pasting all the scorers of over 100 goals from this wikipedia page really isn't all that impressive and sort of ruins it for everyone else.
  19. Honestly probably not as bad an appointment as people are making out. He's a far more modern manager than people give him credit for. Granted the football he plays is pretty agricultural, but in terms of sports science and the use of statistics and that he's certainly not old fashioned. Also I'm really looking forward to seeing Kevin Nolan in an England shirt though.
  20. McKay for me. Great goal and wonderful passing throughout. Edit: http://www.poll-maker.com/results757037x06aE4B46-30#tab-5 Has one person in London done all the voting for Gilks?
  21. Not sure that I'd start Kranjčar for this one actually. I think giving himself and Barton half an hour each would be the best way of working it, letting them gradually gain fitness, before starting Kranjčar in the East Stirlingshire game and giving Barton another 30 minutes. Would start Jordan Thompson at holding midfield and have Forrester and Halliday playing the two more advanced midfield roles.
  22. What glory hunting are you referring to?
  23. Gilks Hodson Kiernan Hill Wallace Krancjar Halliday Forrester Windass Waghorn MOH Barton and Crooks both to come on for 30 minutes or so.
