The last 18 months have seen me curse and detest the celtic media army. I have been bored to tears with their consistent muck raking, single-mindedness and lies. However, and I think we can all admit this; they have been remarkable in their determination and resolute in diminishing the Rangers name. This morning I was thinking about the whole affair and it dawned on me that without the tirade of Ranger bashing stories, we could potentially, be in a much worse state! Somewhat counter intuitively, the Celtic media bonanza did not only hurt the Rangers name but it galvanised our support, while bringing much needed attention to the dealings of Mr C Whyte! Without this attention, Whyte may well have continued his asset stripping for a few more months, making plan D (liquidation), the only viable option. What I find entertaining about this, is that in a perverse way, the BBC / Odious Creep / Phil Mcg… / taxcase.com etc have perhaps helped SAVE our club. Their consistent attacks on Whyte have helped many Rangers fans (myself included) wake from their slumber and see the likes of Murray and Whyte for what they really are. So… in a weird kind of way, thanks for helping to save our glorious club!! Sleep well in that thought!

The one good thing that has come from this whole debacle at the moment is that it has galvanised the support. As rangers fans we are attacked by the media and other fans on a daily basis. It is now clear for everyone to see that we don't care! These are tuff times but the rangers fans are standing strong together. It is brilliant stuff and I a very proud bear! Well done guys!

Bears, thats me made my pledge. We are all hurting, dig deep. 10mill must be taken with a pinch of salt, we know the ra ra have been posting there bile. I am not wealthy, but I am hurt with our predicament. Dig deep guys, what ever you can commit, make the pledge. ... and more importantly make the Payment! On Butchers first day at training he went through the bibs, picked out all the green ones and threw them away "we won't be using these" he quipped.
