Ha, a big ginger ball of flames behind him as he runs up to leather it.

I honestly don't see what he brings to the team? He's quick but ends up running in to trouble almost every time, and if he does get by a man his delivery is always dreadful. He won't get a look in now with all our new signings.

After the arrival of a number of new players, who do you want to see hitting our corners, free kicks, set pieces and penalties? We've seen evidence from the new players, particularly Sean Goss, they are more than capable of giving us new options. What do you Bears think? It's been a while since we've seen a Tav screamer.

I hope Murty is brave enough to play them both but the pressure is very much on the two central midfielders if we play a flat 4-4-2 because, although both Murphy and Candieas will track back, they are primarily forwards. So the two in the middle will have a hard shift if we play that way. Looking like Goss and Docherty/McCrorie as the engine room. I could live with that?
Agree with that. The great plus from all this is that Murty now has the options to mix it up. He can change the formation, during games, to suit the way it's going.

It is totally unfashionable to play with two strikers nowadays, however a 4-4-2 with Cummings & Morelos up front could be interesting. It has been a long time since we had a true striking partnership. McCoist & Hately being the last truly deadly pairing we had IMHO.
The two of them will be absolute pests for the opposition defence. I for one would love to see them up top. The only thing I'm slightly concerned about, with the two, is a lack of target man like presence. Morelos does a decent job holding the ball up but it's not really the game of Cummings, he will score you goals of all types though. Saying that, on paper we now have the potential to supply them from the likes of Murphy and Candeias on the wings, Tav and John from fullback pushing on..and also Windass potentially sat behind them. Looks very good to me.

The amount of people on here focusing on his voice/accent.. Weird bastards.
This lad is going to bang them in, you just know it.

That cross for Hateley against the sheepshaggers always sticks in my mind.
Absolute class player.
Read the thread title and thought of this straight away.

How this boy never got a run of games, at the time of our shortage of striking options, is beyond me. To think Herrera was given more game time makes me sad. I hope he takes this chance with both hands and rattles the goals in.

Whatever formation we play I would love to see Cummings and Morelos start as a pair. They would be an utter nightmare to play against. We all know about Morelos with his work rate and aggression.. Having Cummings, who is equally a massive pest/moaning bastard, and can finish, would put the utter fear into that sheep shagging back four.
