Is it "one match" though? Last season the high of competing at a decent standard in Europe again, somewhat papered over the cracks of what was a disappointing domestic campaign (no trophies = failure) The start of this season has a similar feel to it already. We have played 5 games domestically and although the results have been fine until today, the performances certainly haven't. The only match we have looked a top side in was v the junkies, and even then it took them going down to 10 men to finally put them to bed. The performances need to improve majorly, or it will be groundhog day with them sauntering to 12 trophies in a row.

Since the current qualifying path was introduced, how many teams have gone from Q1 to the groups in back to back seasons? I would imagine not many, and that really is a tremendous achievement from us. Even more so when you think we have not lost one game out of the 16. Superb!!

I am behind the UB's 100% on this and its fucking shocking the way the board have thrown them under the bus.. But as far as Thursday goes, those of us there need to create a seige mentallity and get the place rocking. With the best will in the world to the boys in BF1, the best atmospheres I have experienced at Ibrox were all before they arrived. Absolutely no excuse for the place not to be bouncing on Thursday night.

Remember the costs we have to pay out of the ticket money aswell though mate. Stewarding, policing, staff along with electric and general running costs etc... it must eat into the ticket money quite considerably. Then we have the away fixtures with chartered flights, hotel etc... All these things need taking into consideration when trying (because none of us know tbh) to work out just how much we make from group stage participation. 👍
