Between those 5 and the out of contract they’re probably taking over 200k a week out the club and the only player we’re getting anything from is Barisic. It’s mismanagement on a massive scale. Roughly £10m a year going to those 10 is wild. 
 
Would like to see us actually reduce our wage bil overall. We have a squad of well over 30 players and the £64m wage bill is a disgrace for the return we’re getting.

Porteous is absolutely shite, should be nowhere near us and that's before you take into account he is scum who has tried to injure several of pur players. Can ping a ball but can't defend.

I accept that there will be the occasional transfer bought with a long term benefit in mind but you only need to look across the city to see how new players bought can go straight into the first team and improve it. That has to be our priority at the moment.

The harsh reality is that as a support we are all talking about when he is sacked, and who his replacement will be. 
I can all but guarantee that those same conversations are not happening in the boardroom. The view will be that Europe was a ‘success’ by qualifying for the UCL, and we can’t compete at this level. We’re only 2 points behind them in the league so the title race is very much alive.  
 
Yet, it’ll come to no surprise to us when we eventually fall out of the title race over the coming months & have to sack him. 
We have a favourable run of fixtures through to the World Cup then an extended break where a new manager can get good time on the training pitch with the players. I’m not convinced any manager can get this squad to a title, but many will have a better chance than Gio.

We’re horrendously managed as a club, unless it’s the business of fleecing fans for money then we haven’t a clue.

Getting a new manager in could bring a new lease of life to some of these bottlers in the team. They are not all bad players just need a kick up the arse.

The issue now is how these results affect us domestically. And the writing is on the wall. The players have chucked it, it's quite frankly a disgrace. They've threw Gio under the bus.
