  1. February 1962. Motherwell. Ibrox. Wednesday night floodlights. We won 2-1 My dad finally relented (he was a rugby man) and took me after I had pestered him for a year or so. The strongest memory (we were in the Main Stand) was coming up the stairs to our seats and being dazzled by the floodlights and the size of the place. It was freezing - never felt it.
  2. Magnificent Bears, simply magnificent. Well done. Simply the Best.
  3. Pds 30 paid through Paypal, GB.

If you keep it open I'll do more next month

  4. Hi GB.

Apologies for apparently being AWOL. TBH I thought you'd retired and the funding was in limbo, but that doesn't seem to be the case as I read your latest Post. So, we're still active for this new season, right....?

If that's the case, I'll get cracking on working out the best way to support your efforts. Let me know.

  5. Thank you for posting, especially for us overseas Bears. I always went in Stairway 13, as I did that day .....and always came out Stairway 13 ... except that day. I came out the side of the Main Stand. To this day I have no explanation why. When I see videos like this I remain chilled, yet humble. RTID.
  6. Great OP. You beat me to it. Applause to the Bears. We asked to hear you by your noise..... and you delivered. Big Time. You proved the WE really ARE the People !!!! Well done Bears. RTID
  7. We too will be watching and shouting and singing from an island in the sun. Let us hear you by your noise. And NEVER forget..... We ARE the People. RTID.
  8. If ever there was a role model of a Rangers Man, Sandy you are that person. You have led by example and have shown many of us the true meaning of RTID. I watched you countless times, I have known you for many years and I applaud all your efforts to support our Rangers Family...... we will endeavour now to support yours. Tell Slim and Coop we still miss them. WATP.
  9. From this (now) overseas Bear may this legend rest in peace. I'm old enough to have watched him many, many times ... who could ever forget his first minute goal against Bayern Munich in the ECWC semi in 1972 at Ibrox..... the man was pure class. We too often use the expression "Rangers Man"........... but Sandy Jardine set the standard for that for years. Very few can compare. My thoughts go out to his family and our wider Rangers Family at this very, very sad time.
  10. Now that I've looked through the Willie Vass photos site, I totally agree with the OP. How the fuck do they get away with that sheer provocation...? I'm sure we'll see a big write-up in tomorrow's papers with lots of photos....aye right....!!!!!! OP.........you were right and well done to sticking to your point.....some of us brethren are a wee bit slow at times. So
  11. Naw.....We're way past that mate....once upon a time William Hill used to take odds on who shagged the collie...!!
  12. Cool. You should be here watching the stuff we get
  13. Why are some of us so critical of Sally...? It was a radio interview after losing, and the man was gutted. What would you expect..? Forget who the interviewer was, it's irrelevant. Forget about Sally's comments about L or not - don't read any deeper than that, he doesn't know either. What might be a good idea would be to applaud Sally for being a very decent Rangers man who has the character and the class to say what he said about the football issues. Is he wrong in being an honest Rangers man with integrity....?????? Not in my book. The man IS Rangers. Rangers IS him.
  14. 4,000 miles away....didnae need the TV.... could hear you loud and clear
  15. Comments, thoughts, opinions etc from concerned Rangers supports is "Pish"....hmmm....we've got bigger problems than some of us thought, in that case.
  16. At this rate, we'll be lucky to get a bid high enough to just pay D&P's fees...!!!
