First season - Solidify 2nd place - qualify for main stage Europa - any domestic title and at least any combo of 2 wins/draws against them Second Season - qualify for main stage Europe (depending on our finish on previous season) - Win the league and throw in the any other 2 domestic titles. Third Season - Solidify our 1st place finish from last season - try and push for European football after xmas and another domestic title on top of the league. Gonna be hard but not impossible, Gerrard and Allen have their work cut out for them whilst King still hovers about though.

Maybe in the past, but it's big money that attracts big players now. With the way King seems to be handling things financially, Gerrard will be lucky to get Mulumbu. He'll likely try and take advantage of his knowledge of Liverpool youth and sway them to release a couple on loan. But that is about it.

Could do us a turn for two years and if partnered with someone who is a box to box type then it could work out well. obviously not a long term solution but good for now.

I've said that as we are in it we have to try. I also mean that we shouldn't go and blow our load trying to get to the group stage of the Europa right now, we should invest wisely and conservatively and try but right now I want our aim to be in investing enough or well enough to try and get the league title as that opens up better long term financial gains. Don't get me wrong I want us in the Europa.

But yet the money that needs spending right now to get us to regular europa group stages could effect us for years if not spent correctly.

We are in it, so have to try as otherwise what's the point? But I don't expect this to be something Gerrard can use as leverage to pull players into the club, he's going to have to do that on his name alone. Also the Europa leagues pays in line with the comparison of the CL being the EPL and the Europa being League 1. Yeah it's extra money if we get to the groups but it will hardly make up for the amount that needs spending to get their in the first place.

Realistically however, he'll be forced to keep most of them as you just can't go about shipping out an entire team so guys like foderingham, tav, goss should be bring him in perm, MOH and jack are probably most safe. The rest should, in their minds be on notice and step up now or face being slowly fazed out.

Seems to confirmed what I thought?. Over the last few days I'd started to believe we could achieve something with Gerrard but all that Q&A shite I've just read through from King has brought me crashing back down hard. He needs booting out ASAP before he starts getting ahead of himself and above his station (if he hasn't already & as much as a chairman can) and acting in spite of any personal legal disputes and further damages our brand when Stevie has only just brought us back in to world spotlight.

Difference between us and Dundee mate. Gerrard deserves time and hopefully the assurances he's been given come to bare. It would be great for everyone if this works out because if this works out it starts making us instantly more attractive to better players and potential manager. Tbf, you make a strong point. Thing is though why would need such assurances, why can't they have been open and transparent in the first place?
