Lets be honest here...that last part could be describing our "previous"support ( maybe not the Edinburgh bit) when Murray was throwing money around and the only supporters getting old firm tickets were corporate johnnies ...I believe our support has changed dramatically and for the better since last year and this will tell when we are back enjoying big CL nights at Ibrox once again!

Option 3 for me...our country has way too many football clubs. In my opinion we could live without at least 50% of them .Small and medium sized clubs struggling to survive need to explore again the idea of amalgamation with another local club(s) or if they cannot afford to continue they need to call it a day..sad for some but we are a country in recession and our product at the moment is fucked! Like the poster I was surprised recently at work to hear both Dundee and Scumdee utd supporters agree it is time to join together as one team...so why not Hearts/Hibs ,Motherwell/Hamilton etc ? Who would complain about this ? The armchair fans that clearly ain't going to see their teams now anyway ! £600 for Final in Manchester...I swore I would not pay any more than £200 but as it got closer I got carried away and so happy I did...one of my proudest days as a bear when our boys lined up on that special night !

Almost 18 years ago my wife and I got married at Ibrox and I believe we were the first to do so ! We got married in The Meiklejohn Suite by Rev. Stuart McQuarrie ( I think he is still the official Rangers Minister?) The law had just changed to allow you to marry wherever you please as long as you could find a minister for the venue ...I remember thinking this could be difficult as we were not exactly "regular" at our local church.. As it turned out though Rev McQuarrie sat half a dozen rows in front of me (Main Stand Front-M) and he was delighted to perform the ceremony...great day and a brilliant reception in The Woodburn Suite too...the photos on The Marble Staircase are unique though the dugout ones are a bit cheesy !! Anyone thinking of it I say do it....it's a VERY special place indeed.

Surely to god these people are just ill informed ? Are they seriously saying they would stop following Glasgow Rangers who will play at Ibrox Stadium in blue,red and white,who will train at Murray Park and who will continue to hold and build upon our World record of winning more domestic league championships than anyone else ... this is our team now ,our team in the past and will continue to be our team in the future ! Sorry to say it but if anyone out there believes they can just stop being a bluenose because the ultimate holding company name changes at companies house then you really must ask yourself if you are really one to begin with ! It's not like giving up f.....g smoking ....you don't get to choose to be a Rangers supporter and you certainly don't get to choose to stop being one... This is no ordinary football club,it lives and it breathes in all of us and it will continue long after we have all gone.

I think SDM's plummeting wealth is the main reason he was so eager to offload our Great club to Whyte in the first place so for me there is not much chance of him finding £3m never mind £30m!!! He DOES owe us big time though and if he iintends sticking to his rather implausible story that he was duped by Whyte he needs to start spinning some positive news and stop hiding in our second city !! He could perhaps make a start by paying the £160k SFA fine for example...????
