  1. There can be no excuses. Excuses only allow for the freak show to continue into next season. Atleast 5 top notch performers are needed. New fullbacks. Atleast 1 centre back,2midfielders and 2 strikers. Another March and another season over
  2. Can’t see why anyone would be upset over offering our prime goalscorer a new deal on improved terms. Without his goals we’d be behind the sheep again and it’s highly likely there’s an official or gentleman’s agreement about a release fee there. Something we’ve never done before and lost out on countless millions.
  3. In reality we need to spend decent money. Around 20 million on 4 good players, but at that price they won’t be coming from England as 20 million only buys pish there. So sweeping the Dutch league,Scandinavian and possibly Russian leagues etc is our chance of unearthing gems.
  4. His booking was ridiculous considering the challenge from mcnulty which he got away with. That ref is a total abomination
  5. Lack of quality players. Average players will give average performances more often than not and as has been seen all too often this season we make diabolical decisions in the most critical parts of the pitch. It’s what mediocrity gets us. A lot worse than celtic but a tad better than Aberdeen.
  6. Helped tear Bayern to shreds. I think only mendieta got the better of Barry ever and that is no disgrace
  7. Gonna be hard for us. He’s played extremely well at times and if others are noticing from England then we’ve no chance of affording him. You only have to look at Bournemouth signing solanke for 25 million given he’s not played much if any first team games for Liverpool.
  8. Pretty sure that was the stjohnstone game. Was sat behind me in the main stand
  9. Unfortunately he’s only worth what someone’s willing to pay. If there ends up only being 1 team in for him and it’s a 12 million bid- it’s highly likely he could kick off if he doesn’t get the move. hopefully he scores another 10+ before the season ends, helps us win the cup and maybe 4-5 clubs come in for him and start a bidding war. shame to lose the guy but I think it’s a formality and just a matter of how much we get for him
  10. Seen it.. but didn’t we all think Mcinnes was a done deal? We’ll see anyhow. If he signs and he’s what we need then great
  11. Well have to agree to disagree, if we sign him then he’ll get my backing but it’ll be interesting to see which clubs are interested in him and where he goes.
  12. I’ve only seen him vs us and granted he raises his game v us but so does nearly every player in the league. We’ve seen so many shine for the provincial clubs yet do absolutely nothing wearing Rangers kits.
  13. All those Scottish based signings were complimented by much better players in the team they were joining. While I agree they were successful, us signing shinnie or whoever won’t make a difference to us. We’ll just be signing someone else’s inconsistent players to go with our own inconsistent players. the next window has to be quality signings and given the outlay last summer without European football I expect us to spend abit more this time round to get better players than shinnie etc.
  14. If we constantly want to be better than the rest then signing nobodies from Aberdeen will not improve us. We need quality players better than celtics to have any chance winning the league. Common knowledge tells us that Scotland’s champions have better players than the opposition. Graeme shinnie and the hearts forward wouldn’t look out of place at Motherwell or Dundee. So obviously we need better or it’s more of the same
  15. Whilst 1 win in 5 vs Aberdeen isn’t great there’s always a team that is difficult to beat. I can remember Dundee Utd being a right thorn in our side for a couple seasons until we obliterated them 7-1. It happens. Unfortunately for us this time seems to be the sheep and with the hatred it’s harder to accept
  16. Fans will never see the same game as management do.
  17. You can see his quality with crosses and he has a good engine on him. When he first arrived he was always available wether for an attacking move or defensively, but after his injury I think he looks a tad frightened of receiving a hard Scottish tackle. Very rarely takes the ball comfortably under pressure, hopefully he improves that part of his game because if he had Hallidays determination he’d be an outstanding left back
  18. He’ll go to the highest bidder as long as the club receive a bid that’s inline with his ability. Not like the bid we accepted for jelavic 5 million or whatever it was. 18 million minimum for the lad. IMO he’ll do the biz in any league- he looks a constant nightmare for defenders and will only get better. it will be a shame to lose a such a player that feeds off the vibe around the stadiums.
  19. And anyway 8 points even if they do bottle a few big games means we still have to win a lot more consistently than we have done all season which I can’t see happening.
  20. The main reference to them bottling it I think is to do with losing a semi final to Ross county 2-1 I think when Lennon took over from Mowbray and the famous Inverness 3-2 celtic that handed the title race back in our hands before we thrashed killie 5-1. Other than that he did pretty well with his own team. I think we could be watching something different when he’s managing another mans team
  21. If they carry on their run since losing to us then it’s over. Depends on what changes the bigot makes at the tatie bowl. He’s never been one for expansive play etc so it will be interesting to see who he falls out with first
  22. By rights there should’ve been a few more mins added but I highly doubt the tims will drop 8 points more than us so there’ll be no title decided on goal difference this year
  23. It will only ever be look at as whataboutery.. all you have to do is look at the talk sport headlines one Thursday and Friday.. there’s uproar, all big bad Rangers and it’s fans. Yet anything they do wrong is swept under that big carpet, it’s blatant propaganda- it can’t be classed as anything else. It’s definetly not impartial reporting as Monday’s headlines would’ve been the same as fridays just swap 1 team for the other. Any negative headline that can be twisted to involve Rangers is published, a guy could steal a motor or rob a pensioner and the headlines would be so and so a Rangers fan when in fact football has nothing whatsoever to do with the offence. Then we look to the football fans arrested on racism charges against Morelos up in Aberdeen. Well it definitely wasn’t a Rangers fan abusing the clubs top goal scorer was it? So it was obviously an Aberdeen fan yet we see no mention. A celtic fan gets arrested at football and it’s a supporter in green and white scarf- never mentions the club. ofcourse the head in sand loyal will just accept it and accuse others of being paranoid.
  24. Leagues finished. We could quite easily beat the tims twice and lose more points against drab teams. It’s about time this squad realised that all 3 points are the same wether it’s vs celtic or Livingston. It also cheats the fans aswell by turning up when they like.
  25. Problem is fringe players at Liverpool seem to be shockingly bad. And if we were to take a gamble and do that then we’d instantly regret it. There’s only 1 I can think of who I’d have on loan from Liverpool. Harry Wilson. It’s all hypothetical anyway as I doubt Liverpool will be watching Morelos. He’d have to do it big time in the championship/lower premier league side first, or just sign for Southampton
