I'm pretty sure the same thing happened today with Dessers. Even though he is a shocking striker, that 'tackle' by Johnston interfered with Desser's shot (he pulls his leg back to shoot and catches Johnston's leg). If the Desssers at Ibrox is a foul, then Johnston's should have been a foul, which would have been another penalty.

If Clement is looking to convince the board why we must buy Shankland, he only needs to show them Dessers’ display.
I would have backed Shankland for at least two goals today in scenarios where Dessers completely fucked up and managed to run out of steam and ideas at the same time.

I’d agree with that. Always thought Collum was just a really bad ref and that everyone in Scotland even scum fans would say the same. A guy who likes to make it about him, almost like an uglier, Scottish version of Lahoz 
However what we seen from him today was either the highest form of shitting it from the pressure he was under or it was just cheating pure and simple. I’m not convinced it wasn’t the latter

The question of offside was a complete afterthought, a salvage job half a hour later when a corrupt decision became more and more obvious.
The reason that nobody at the broadcaster heard it mentioned is because none of the officials (VAR or onfield) had even considered it at that point.
The picture released later showing the offside line was taken, not at the point of Lundstram kicking but instead, after the ball is away. Distorting the facts in this way only serves to make the whole thing stink even more.
The club have to see this through and demand the audio which, I can guarantee, will not feature the word “offside” at any point.
