  1. Souttar has done, and will do, fuck all in his career compared to Tav. Souttar can only dream of achieving what Tav his. I know we're hurting at the moment but folk are absolutely losing the plot. It's not tavs fault we've spunked millions upon millions of pounds on shite during the time he's been here. And particularly the signing of Beale as manager. He'll be hurting as well about how it's going.
  2. Fuck me thats mental when you add it up like that. Shocking signings.
  3. As long as its not some Charles Green-esque shyster. Some geezer giving it the billy big baws, WATP style patter.
  4. Murray was hamstrung around say 2010... So that's cracking on for 15 years we've been rudderless. Possibly Dave King was OK for a bit, but I'm not counting him. How much longer can we go on like this? We badly need someone to come in and help us now. If we're still being run like this in say 5 years time, could we be getting to the point we're really starting to struggle again? The fans loyalty has been unwavering throughout. But there's maybe the first signs of people getting fed up now. The board cannot rely upon the goodwill of them support indefinitely.
  5. The only skill he's got, and I noticed that in his YouTube highlights, was that when he's given about half an hour to tee up a shot he'll hit a strong accurate shot on goal. A bit like the offside goal last night, he had an eternity to tee that up and struck it nicely. That's it. And that's a right lot of use playing for Rangers in Scotland when it's 11 men behind the ball most of the time, and the games played at 100 miles an hour.
  6. Pound for pound the worst ever striker? Not the absolute worst striker ever... Not sure who that would be. But the worst value striker ever.
  7. That's not Beale's fault. I don't really blame him at alll. It's on us.
  8. Saw it on his YouTube highlights reel before he signed, as I'm sure you and others did. Same with dessers, looked exactly like how he's been with us. We got exactly what we paid for.
  9. You've absolutely nailed him there, spot on. That was me to a tee. 5 a side legend, nice intricate touches, accurate passes and close range shots. Stick me on an 11 a side park and headless chicken, positionally all over the shop.
  10. Absolutely the wrong attitude. Nothing to do with him the fact he was given the job and the chequebook.
  11. We're a bad bad lot. I'm not often a one for the binning a whole team chat, but the vast majority of this squad is not good enough.
  12. Fitness? Or his athleticism is declining. I think goldson's been a great player for us. Not his fault the dross that's been signed around him, or the football management not noticing that the back line in general was aging and slowing and so something would need to be done. Lammers money and goldsons wage could've been used to get a quality young CB in.
  13. You mind he masterminded us winning the league, stopping 10iar, and laid the foundations of a team that got to the final of the EL aye? Your point on covid is true and unfortunate. Aside from a global pandemic which coalesced a sellik meltdown, and us getting incredibly lucky with Gerrard and digging up some great signings, we've been a basketcase and distant second best for a long long time now. The Gerrard covid era was a small aberration in what's been poor mediocrity for us for all too long.
  14. It canny be lampard... Surely to fuck no. Disaster waiting to happen if its him. It's just more of the same. We got the best out that batch of guys catching Gerrard in his first job. The stars aligned with that.
  15. Brilliant from Boyd there. Absolutely nailed it. And thank fuck at least someone in the media truly on our side and not afraid to tell the truth. His point on needing folk who get it, and are willing to fight for the club is spot on. Beale's signing are all luxury players, guys who can do the odd flashy thing here and there, but don't have the physicality or guts to drag us to victories when the going gets tough. Funny, first person popped into my head was Prso. Not a Rangers man, but got it from the word go. A free transfer as well, albeit on a high wage.
  16. I've got no clue either, but Lammers up front on his own? Be better playing a Levein 4-6-0
  17. Lampards an inferior Gerrard. We already tried that trick and got the best out of Gerrards early managerial career aura. Vastly diminishing returns from that now, considering Lampards been around a while now and not done as well as Gerrard.
  18. Woah easy there fella. I was just making the point we've been through this same process with a variety of managers now. We keep making the same mistakes over and over again
  19. Is that Warburton, Caixinha, or Beale you're talking about there? (slightly unfair on warburton he didn't get a fortune to blow)
  20. Probably everything that's been said about Beale in this thread could've been said about Caixinha. How in the fuck have we got ourselves into this situation again so soon? It's mind boggling.
  21. Welcome to Ibrox SAMUEL ALLARDYCE
  22. Considering how catastrophically bad Pedro was, I never thought we'd be anywhere near a situation saying we had a worse manager. But in all honesty I think you might be right that he was worse than him.
  23. I like what you're saying but I'm not sure the person you're describing that would also want to come to us exists. Also, it's easy to say never say die, must win team... But our players are shite. They can't win, that's the problem. We need better players to be able to even have that attitude, never mind have the attitude and actually get the wins.
