Update:
8 Erskine Veterans & Carers arrived safe and sound. By chance I was passing the Albion Car Park when they arrived, so I had a wee chat with everyone, and once again they asked me to pass on their thanks to you.
They also told me about how THEY are having a fundraising night in October, and they'll be donating the proceeds to OUR Fund!
I was a bit surprised to hear that. It might sound a bit strange, and somehow wrong - but it's not really - trust me - we'll make it work out well for them!
5 Combat Stress Veterans, and another 2 Combat Stress Veterans successfully collected their tickets, but I didn't hear from 2 groups of 2
They may have just not been able to make it, or there may have been some screw-up with phone numbers.
But either way, it got me thinking that there's got to be an easier way to get these tickets to Combat Stress.
The weak link is that by the time I get word back from Combat Stress with the numbers, it's too late to buy tickets and then post them on to Combat Stress. Meaning all this trying to meet lots of people all over the place.
So here's the solution: Instead of asking Combat Stress how many tickets they want for a game, we'll just buy some and post them to them. They can then use them as they see fit, and if they need more, they can let us know and we'll get them. Simple.

As we speak, they're en-route to Erskine, who plan to sell them at their upcoming Summer Fairs.
At only £1 each, and just before the schools go back, I can see them proving quite popular, and raising a few bob.

SW3 has just donated - again.
His last donation was used as the first donation of this current fundraiser, so he was already on the Members List. I thought I had told him, but maybe not.

Only 2 small updates so far this morning:
1 - Hospitality v St Mirren. Because the Symon Suite is cheaper than the Argyle Suite, we can afford 6 seats for the same price as 4 in the Argyle Suite. So that means we can now bring along another Wheelchair User and Carer.
2 - Erskine Season Tickets - The 4 Erskine S/T seats are valid for all League games. We've agreed with Erskine that the Fund will automatically activate their 4 smartcards for all non-S/T games. So if we get loads of home draws, and end up winning all 3 cups this season, that will probably bankrupt the Fund - but what a way to go, eh?

I'm happy to report that the Erskine Veterans' very much enjoyed their Falkirk Wheel Boat Ride and Lunch today.
I'm sure I'll get a full report and some photos soon, but until then, here's a text...
