If Kennedy and Kewell go then whoever comes in has a small amount of time to get organised. All the players will be on holiday until July. They have a trip to Japan as well. I can't imagine any new manager really wants a far trip like this to settle into a new job.

Wont be the first time they cancel a Japan trip

  2. The grey hordes wont give him the time required. Considering that team needs gutted, he'd need over a season plus money to burn. They say the will, but they won't. Look at the knick of them after Ross County. First bump and they'll be screaming for Keane in 'ra sellick man, knows wit its aw aboot' etc

    Unsure mate.

    That's basic Consumer Rights.

I'd say, with my fairly decent knowledge of The Consumer Rights Act, it'd be difficult to prove most of them apart from 'Satisfactory Quality'.

Unless there is an obvious issue with 'quality' (stitching etc) then I think it's quite difficult to prove. However, the sooner you report it the more chance you stand.

In saying that our top is a similar price to most other football kits. So it could be argued (unless there there is an obvious flaw) that is is of a satisfactory quality. Despite the discrepancies between Turkish and Chinese kits.

I managed to get mines refunded in store with no fuss. On closer inspection,  it was stitched wrong at the collar, so it was classed as faulty. Just had to show the email with the order details.

Once the money comes through I'll go for the away top until they sort out whatever is going on with the home kit.

Some form of proof of purchase would be required to return it.

Plus a suggestion of one reason as to why it was faulty.

    Either :

    • Not fit for purpose
    • As described
    • Satisfactory quality

I haven't heard from Castore since I emailed last night. Worth taking to the store or give them more time?

  5. Motherwell have announced a £436,000 loss for the year to May 2019, having made a £1.7m profit in the previous accounting period.

The Fir Park club finished eighth in last season's Scottish Premiership - one place lower than in 2017-18, when the club also reached both cup finals.

Gate receipts were down almost a half to £1.6m and broadcasting rights fell around 25% to £1.4m.

Revenue of £4.6m included £781,000 of transfer income.

Player sales were largely made up of the first instalment of the sale of Cedric Kipre, who joined Wigan in August 2018.

Staff costs rose by around £50,000 to almost £4m - just £600,000 less than the total revenue.

Prize money, including Uefa solidarity payments, dropped from £750,000 to £160,000.

The club has liabilities of £80,000 owed to five fans but, as announced last month, Motherwell no longer owe money to former owners John Boyle and Les Hutchison.

This season Stephen Robinson's side have regularly been in the Premiership's top four as the season's midway point approaches.

Does this mean their wages are 87% of total revenue? Mental. Hurry up and die.

  6. Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh fears his beloved Hibernian are "favourites" for relegation from the Scottish Premiership this season.

Paul Heckingbottom's side are second bottom of the table, with four points from six games, following the Edinburgh derby defeat by Hearts.

The players were booed off the pitch by supporters on Sunday.

"A lot of people won't be back until there's an improvement in the side," said Welsh on BBC Radio Scotland.

"I can't really see how it's going to happen under the current regime. There seems to be no fight in the team at all.

"I didn't go [on Sunday]. I kind of had no intention of going. I've been to some of the games this season and I've not been impressed with what I've been seeing.

"I've been arguing with Hearts-supporting friends about who the worst team in Scotland is right now, and I think I've been proven right that Hibs are actually the worst team in Scotland at the moment."

Hibs came under the ownership of United States-based businessman Ronald Gordon in July and Welsh has urged the chairman to "get involved".

"He's been the kind of silent guy in the States," he added. "He has to get involved or I think [chief executive] Leeann Dempster has to be more pro-active about what's happening here, because you're not going to sell any season tickets next year with this kind of regime - and then the club's finances get hit and it goes into a spiral of decline again.

"I think they need to make some decisions. The season can still be salvaged if you get somebody that can motivate these players and make them perform at a higher level.

"I really think that Hibs are favourites for relegation."

 I'm absolutely loving basking in your pain. Get it up ye
