I had this text from a mate tonight who is in the Navy and a Plymouth Argyle ST holder referring to Windass
"He had a standing ovation from the Argyle crowd when subbed against us late in the game before Xmas...most unusual for them to recognise and actually appreciate a talented boy "

Outside of Arsenal, who else were these two linked with potentially?

That made me laugh. Although there is no way to prove it either way it's quite a statement to make, hypothetical as it is.As for the 2 players, hopefully they would do us proud but it's a massive jump playing for Accrington Stanley then going to Rangers.
Dare I say as well, if the boys were that good an EPL or championship side would take a punt even ar the risk of losing a few million.

I think both these lads could do us a turn.
But sooner or later Dave's going to have to get the cheque book out to bring a better level of player to the club if he's serious about challenging Celtic next season.

Would be two good signings imo. Crooks would give us a bit more physical presence as well.

Hopefully that goal will open things up in the 2nd half to pick up 2-3 more goals

That was magic, hopefully this will be the game where th Nicky Law doubters will see he is the most able and creative midfielder in our team.
Only thing worse than being crap at your job is when you are good at it and the manager is a dick (thanks ally). That's why Law lost interest.
Well done Holt, but Nicky Law is creating havoc amongst that half decent Hibs team.

Disappointing result, thought for sure we'd get a second and go on to win it when we were all over them. Thought we made the subs too early as we were enjoying our best spell of the match at that time but that isn't to be blamed for Foderingham and Ball getting in each other's way at a corner.
Defensively we're still very shaky and we need to get that sorted sooner rather than later.
We're losing too many balls in midfield as well. Thought McGinn was the best player on the pitch and he's the type of player we need.

In the end, you only count what crosses the line. This isn't horseshoes or hand-grenades...

Hard to believe that arsenal found that kid playing youth soccer in the United States at 14

the two wingers who have been getting pelters from the fickle ones on here combine to give us the lead.
People on here expect wingers to beat their man every time you need to realise that they will loose the ball and make mistakes when they are taking people on and taking risks.

Two most slated players on the pitch combine to get a goal!

On the flip side of that got some good players and we are playing a different style.
Yeah your concerns are valid and must be kept in the forefront of our minds but I am not going to beat the manager about that. If a newly formed squad are not 100% I think I can let him have a wee bit of leeway personally, I am going to give MW a while before I start going off on one. Anyway the things you mentioned are board issues not the managers (apart from winning a game).

Yes I would agree and the goal did seem to give them a jolt, but I an happy to give W & W the time to get the lads fully match fit and time to settle in the players who have just signed get used with each other.
I am just a little worried that a young team might find it difficult to the cope with the expectations of playing for Rangers, I think I am just being cautious and hopefully it will work out well.

It's about getting the deflections and excuses in early. Not having cup are are now unimportant as well as no plan, no investment, no listing, no auditor, no independent Directors, no transparency. Grasping at straws. I do feel for them.
