  1. They're all mentally weak, but he looks to be particularly feeble.
  2. If any other player or coach had looked like they gave a shit about that tackle, it might well have been given as a red.
  3. A prime example of what's accepted at the club these days. Won't even drop the coward after Saturday.
  4. He's not alone - not being able to control a football is basic enough, but that is just inept.
  5. My expectations are low, for the general apathy towards demanding success everywhere at the club, but mainly because of the players we already have, and the prospect of employing another manager unable to get more from them. There's not liking or understanding what's being asked of you, even with good reason, and there's what we saw at the weekend. Right now it feels like it will be pure luck that finds us a good coach, tactician and man-manager, one who this team will respect and not down tools when it gets uncomfortable.
  6. @BlueSuedeSambas Barisic, the next time an Aberdeen player looks at him funny.
  7. We should just let the precious wee flowers pick the new manager, see if it gets us a year without them working to rule.
  8. The healing powers of never again having to endure/translate a Beale/Banfield training session.
  9. Butland Devine Goldson Davies Sterling Tav Cifuentes Lundstram Barisic Lammers Sima Good luck, Steven.
  10. Or not in the squad. Picked a team in my head that looked shite-but-hopeful, with Dowell maybe the one player returning from injury, until... Three at the back and Dessers up front again, isn't it.
  11. New manager bounce, players recovering miraculously from "after the international break" injuries. This is fine.
  12. I'd take him for a week, just to spend all that time calling most of them useless, spineless cunts.
  13. Absolutely nothing about him, can see exactly why he's been moved on repeatedly.
  14. That list is filthier than anything in that thread. Has it been said that Cantwell and/or Dowell will be back before the international break?
  15. At the same time as praying that we can somehow find a way to look like an organised team tonight, I'm also wondering who might be picking the team for Sunday.
  16. Makes sense to me, given what's available. And then I remember what a whole summer-and-a-bit of this coaching team trying to convey new tactics to these players has looked like.
  17. PSV seeing the sore difference in playing against a well-drilled team, knowing exactly what is expected of them and totally confident in executing it. We used to be good against teams who would expect to beat us and played accordingly. Now it's just a thoughtless and nervous race to give the ball away, something that might get really embarrassing (again) against a decent team.
  18. Another example of a glaring weakness that's just been ignored, one of many.
  19. Once, just once, to have a management team who the players look like they respect, seem to have a clue about what he wants them to do, and want to give everything for. To be given a budget and control of a transfer policy, and doing this with it. Not helped himself by choosing to keep losers who so obviously gave up with his predecessor too.
  20. Changing to a completely different setup against a quality team presents a challenge already, but for a team that's laboured to keep the ball and create against the likes of Kilmarnock, Morton and Ross County, it's going to be a struggle.
  21. Combine that with a confusing transfer policy, minimal time between games to train players to look like they know what's going on...not great.
  22. Can't concentrate for long enough to make it easy...one day it will click.
  23. It's chronic all the time, a million miles away from looking fluent.
