It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Legendary Erskine Bear - Dinger Bell.
Dinger was a Resident in Erskine Bishopton Veterans Care Home for many years and was known and loved by everyone there. He was also very popular here on RangersMedia, and his photos often popped up in our Erskine threads, cheering us all up over the last 10 years, when we were so often down. The passion and pride that Dinger had for all things Rangers was an inspiration to us all.
Dinger was always a very popular face around Ibrox, and was always more than happy to represent Erskine at Ibrox whenever called upon, which was often! He served as a great ambassador for both Erskine and Rangers for many years, and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

First thing I would say is the club didn't really have any other option this season due to the COVID pandemic, because of this it has been worthwhile.
The standard of the Lowland League is pretty poor, if you were starting to form a Lowland League today, in my opinion only Bonnyrigg Rose, East Stirling and Spartans would be in it. Auchinleck, Pollok, Clydebank and Darvel from the West of Scotland League and Penicuik, Linlithgow Rose and Tranent from the East of Scotland League would all enhance the standard.  With only one team relegated it is going to take time for the standard to improve.
In my opinion players like Leon King, Kyle McClelland, Cole McKinnon and Charlie McCann will have got little benefit from these games. King, McClelland and McKinnon had already played a couple of levels above and McCann had made 23 appearances in Premier League 2 for Manchester United. As the season progressed it became apparent that others like Adam Devine, Robbie Fraser and Alex Lowry were also above this level.
I find it difficult to asses what level the players are at, as i honestly couldn't say any player has had a poor season, all have played well but it is at Lowland League level. 
I don't know what the club's plans are for next season, but the vote for their inclusion in the Lowland League for another season goes ahead next week. If it continues I think the current U18's (2004's) should be the basis of the Lowland League team. The majority of this season's U19 players should go out on loan.

Good afternoon,

It would be much appreciated if you could confirm receipt of this email. 

I would also be grateful if you could ensure David Dick and Austin Barrett are notified of the story. I’m sure The Daily Record will be happy to give them a right to reply.

We would like to draw attention to at least 9 Daily Record employees whose tweets  are alleged by a whistleblower to contain material that is racist, sectarian, misogynistic, homophobic, anti Semitic and ableist.

The whistleblower sent a copy of the complaint to our website after contacting Police Scotland. I believe they are regarding the tweets as "hate incidents".

The statements in the tweets would appear to be entirely at odds with Reach PLC’s diversity and equality policies.

My questions are as follows:

1. Will Reach PLC investigate the allegations?
2. Should press passes be suspended for Daily Record employees at SPFL games?
3. Will the journalists in question continue to remain as writers for the Daily Record?

Any other comment you wish to make would be considered.
