It's a disgrace that's the fallback. Akin to the fish face pen in December, then the fallback is an offside. Only discovered after half time.

They gave a free kick for the 50/50 header after Vickers gave away the pen. They basically played on because there's fuck all in the 50/50 and then when it led to celtic conceding a pen, decided it was a foul.

He didn't give the 'foul' as it happened, he waited til Carter Vickers had committed the penalty then gave it as a get out clause to avoid awarding the penalty. There was no advantage being played, it wasn't an offside type call the officials were waiting to see how play developed before puting flag up etc. It wasn't a foul, wasn't given until he needed it to be a foul.

Only fools would ignore what he done when he arrived getting this group winning on all fronts.

I think we seriously need to look at Sterling at right back for this....it's just a recurring theme when Maeda plays against Tavernier, I've read a lot in the past saying we shouldn't play Tav further forward but the counter argument surely is how poor we are on the right side, If we are taking Tavs strong points then they are generally in an attacking sense so I wouldn't be entirely against this option....we definitely need to try something different as I would hate to see Tav getting badly exposed at their midden
