  1. I think super Ally has been afforded a great deal of slack because he's such a legend and the board, whoever the fuck they are today, probably feel that sacking him would cause such a fucking uproar with the fans that it's not worth the bother. Ally isn't a great manager and the money being thrown about at the club to win a league that last season was won by a part time team and will be probably won by a part time for ever after this season is a nonsense but we're still pissing millions down the drain. Get rid of all the backroom staff, bring in someone who knows what the fuck they're doing and let him build a team. Next season we're going to have a real challenge on our hands and Ally hasn't got what it takes to storm the Championship the way he had done this year and last. If McCoist wants it give him a non exec directors job as a thank you, fuck it, name a stand after him but please let's start anew. It would be a bit mean to sack him now though, at least let him win the league.
  2. Don't know if it's already been mentioned but I did have a wee chuckle to myself when the daft cunt Pars fans, all 6 of them chanted "you're not Rangers anymore" and "same old Rangers always cheating" within 5 minutes. Unless I heard wrong. The bile poured out by their handful of fans reminds just why I cared not one jot when they were going down the pan.
  3. It shows the mentality of some people in this country that they can't stand in silence as a mark of respect for ONE MINUTE. Thousands of Irish Catholics died fighting during both world wars for the King so I don't understand that aspect of it. The other thing is this; there are more Irish catholics in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham than Scotland, they came for the same reasons and stayed for the same reasons but they all support teams who wore the poppy over the weekend and ALL observed a minutes silence, my dad was from the North West and was die hard Man Utd fan and had loads of catholic mates he went to games with so why are they all such arseholes up here? I would suggest it's the fact they choose to separate themselves from the age of 5 but I'd probably end up with a police caution so I won't.
  4. It never ceases to amaze me how narrow minded and short sighted football is in this country. If what a previous poster has said is correct, about Raith refusing to hold the game at Ibrox, aren't they just cutting off their nose to spite their face? I assume that the gate receipts/ pie sales etc are split 50/50 so there would be more than twice the money brought in and no one would have to split any cost further by paying rent to Easter Road or Tyncastle (which I also assume is the case).
  5. Neutrality wouldn't necessarily be an issue, assuming we win tonight and unless Stenhousemuir have drafted in 11 new players since the last time we played them I'm guessing we'll scrape a win, Ibrox would be the logical choice as the large crowd would benefit both teams financially and I can't see Raith turning their noses up at the money they'd get plus we'd get money from all the pies sold etc so that'd be handy. Or maybe they'll hold a game where they could get 50k supporters going in a ground that holds less than half that just to make a point and I wouldn't put it past the SFA to do that either.
  6. Aye, special needs, fucking hell what was he thinking?
  7. Yeah he has, he obviously gets a bit carried away but you can understand why. I've got carried away in training let alone in a cage with loads of people watching and pumped up to fuck.
  8. I used to both comment on here a fair bit and did a few pieces for Rangers Media as "The Captain" I got very frustrated with all the board room horrors and some of the bitching on here dragged me down so I stopped bothering altogether, plus it was off season and I prefer to talk about football.
  9. I really enjoyed watching this, reminded me just how much I need to get back to training properly. I thought Machida was superb, was enjoying the Jimmo fight until he pulled up. That no contest fight was fucking brutal, thought it was a bit harsh to be honest.
  10. The way we're going we'll be lucky to be the new QPR
  11. I've got an old mate who's an ex Ajax lad, they'll rip Glasgow to bits looking for the bheasts then when they get bored they'll rip each other to bits so a bad night for the city centre ahead.
  12. Yes she is, and there is a shot of her naked if you watch the documentary
  13. I'm actually a Man Utd fan, have been going since the 80s, my Dad was from the area and was die hard United and you always follow your dad's team don't you? That said I've married into a Rangers family with virtually everyone in her family season ticket holders, two of her brothers left my wedding early to get the last train to Inverness for an early kick off the next day. My love for Rangers comes from that, I've never seen a club with such devoted fans, a club which genuinely is more than just a football team, it's very hard not to fall for them.
  14. I watched a documentary last night on Pussy Riot who, for those of you who don't know, were jailed for singing offensive songs that slagged off Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church, the world was rightly outraged and twitter went fucking mental with people saying how shocking it was that people standing up for what they believe in should be imprisoned, receive death threats etc. Now, you'll probably see where I'm going with this, if the world is outraged, rightly so, by this act of repression why is no one coming out in support of football fans, even those at the piggery, who are being handed criminal records for doing nothing other than singing songs which haven't actually hurt anybody in the decades that they've been being sung? I'd like to see Liberty and Amnesty International get involved with this, I've asked Liberty and they said they were monitoring the situation which means that until a lesbian in a wheelchair or a black Rangers fan gets arrested they're doing fuck all but you never know. I'm hoping a Rangers fan with a bit of money gets lifted and takes it all the way to the European courts. Sorry if this shouldn't be in Bears Den.
