I don't think Ashley wants to run Rangers - that is too much like hard work. He just wants to skim off the revenue from merchandising etc. King, on the other hand, DOES want control. The important thing is that a successful Rangers sees them both win. Therefore, as pragmatic businessmen, it is in both their interests to find a way to work together and I hope they see that too. This, of course, would also be good for the hedge-fund managers and long-term investors. We are stronger with both of these men inside the tent.
