  1. I genuinely don't think we will lose next week....but for talking sake...if we had taken 9 points and they had taken 9 points and they beat us next week, we come away three points behind having had 3 tough away games. The reality is our worst case right now we leave there 4 points behind, its not a disaster. Next week is about that game and us putting down a marker for the season....the one thing we know is this team wont go and shit it there. If we lose 1-0 and make a game of it we can still class that as progress based on the shit we have seen there recently. If we go and win 1-0 they will completely impode. The pressure is on them. Thursday is the focus, what we have went through the last 6 years can be fully put in the past if we reach the group stages of a european competition. We have 90 mins to achive that....we have a whole season to put them in their place.
  2. Its Nice to hear an SPL club saying we do business correctly........wonder if Richard Gordon and BBC Scotland will report that..... Hamilton chiefs have warned they could be forced to rethink their philosophy on bringing through youth players if Monday’s Lewis Ferguson tribunal goes against them. Accies will discover how much they are to receive from Aberdeen for the midfielder with the two clubs miles apart in their valuation. The Dons have offered £100,000 but Accies are understood to be holding out for over a million. And Hamilton chairman Ronnie MacDonald told the Sun: “If we as a club are doing all this work to produce a Lewis Ferguson, who could be a once-in-ten-years player, the valuation of him has to be realistic otherwise I’m going to think, ‘Why am I bothering?’ “He was in our first-team at 17 and someone offers us £100,000 for him — but he’s good enough to play all four games for Aberdeen in the Europa League? “If Aberdeen had done what Rangers did with Greg Docherty, come in the front door and worked something out, fine, rather than people not returning your calls. “Aberdeen will argue we’re due reimbursement, I’ll argue we’re due compensation. “Compensation is getting reimbursed for an event I hadn’t welcomed happening to me. Reimbursement is them saying ‘You spent £20k a year developing him for five years, here’s 100k’.
  3. The SFL are meeting with the SFA and SPL on Wednesday to discuss league reconstruction so would guess this meeting was to discuss how this would pan out. What the SPL/SFA are now worried about is that where previously the SFL clubs had to take what was offered to them, they now have the biggest club in the country under their banner and subsequently hold a measure of power they have never had. Interesting times.
  4. Its actually meant to brighten up the tomorrow for the game. Just the Filth that will need to go out in this weather. which might mean more people paying on the night.
