To be fair it was the rookie QB I was rooting for, and cursing my luck that Denver had Trevor Siemion. Denver don't seem to have had much luck getting good a QB since Elway, with the obvious exception of Peyton Manning who was unfortunately almost done when he came to Mile High, Jake Plummer, Brian Griese, Jay Cutler, Kyle Orton, Tim (WWJD) Tebow and Brock (the money grabber) Osweiler are hardly a collection of world's greatest QBs.

I'm a Denver fan myself and while it was looking good for a while the wheels fell off our wagon, again! I ended the season getting behind the Cowboys as I thought their rookie QB was playing some of the best football I've seen. Atlanta were so close, but close doesn't count for anything. Never mind we've got eight seven months of waiting for the NFL to bring it all round again.

Given how bad we've been playing this season do we really think we're ready for European competition again? Without a major investment on the part of the board and king then I fear the worst a real going over by FC Woodafukurthey? of Wherzatplace? Now, ok I may be being overly pessimistic but we've all seen it in the past.

Warburton found his level last year. He hasn't managed to lift the players for this first season back in the top league and that is as much a condemnation of them as of him. Let's be honest though, he has been given virtually no support from the board and the club is starved of cash and ambition.

I didn't expect us to win the league this year but I did expect our players to put in a serious challenge instead of which we've staggered from game to game throwing points and goals away with almost gleeful abandon. I was a steward at Ibrox through a good portion of the 80s and well into the 90s so worked under the club's own stewarding system and then under Rock Steady (the tales I could tell), but we used to bring in the stewards from the piggery for the games against the bheasts, what a mhanky smelly bunch of bead rattling fucking scum the stewards were.
