I think Morelos missed around 5 games or so in that period. Roofe was just coming back from injury which isn't ideal as he always needs a few games or so to get up to speed. We were absolutely toothless up front in that spell and it is only recently since Alfie got injured that we are now managing to be able to play and score without him.

If i remember right, the break being brought forward meant that Morelos then missed a bunch of games when we restarted. We then struggled up front during this period which led to probably our poorest period in the league. There have been other times where we have blown in from winning positions, Ross County (3-3) and Motherwell (2-2) come to mind.

I see the outrage is still in full flow in the media over jokes at the Scottish Football awards. Does anyone know what the actual quotes are?

I could be wrong but the beamback sounds like a gimmick to me. Was there not issues with the 2008 beamback where it was difficult to see the screen due to the distance and also glare? Add in queuing and not being able to get a drink in the stadium etc it just sounds like a hassle so I would rather watch it in the pub with a group of mates.

If we have played no one to get this far then how come they couldn't get a good run going in three European tournaments?

Mental to think that he was at Rangers for nearly 1/4 of our club's history.

Gutted to hear this news and feel sorry for him, his family and the team. Did he work the game at the weekend there? I can imagine the mood in the dressing room will be down but hopefully the players can put in a performance on Thursday that Jimmy would be proud of.

His new 5 fight contract apparently puts him as the 3rd highest paid fighter behind 1.McGregor and 2.Adesanya.

I am not really a fan of Masvidal. He had a decent run with the Till KO, Askren KO and then the joke BMF belt. This has put him on the casual fans radar. He's now got a 5 fight deal that makes him one of the higher paid fighters which I think is mental but fair enough, well done to him for making the most of the opportunity.

I prefer inswinging corners as it only takes a flick on it to get a chance / scramble in the box. We keep persisting with outswining corners which defenders are heading rather easily.
