  1. After last season lets take one game at a time, the more we win by the better, we had this attitude last season and got stuffed.
  2. Can the club not take criminal action against the fan or pass on any fines to him?
  3. The Rampant Lion of Aston Villa, Rangers, Scotland, and countless others versus Captain Britain: http://worldsoccertalk.com/2014/11/24/list-of-9-other-potential-lawsuits-in-light-of-valencia-and-dc-comics-saga/ Number 9, Didn't know that we was in this list and quite funny
  4. Take Allan in Jan and have him for next season, dont give Hibs a penny, why should we bolster the coffers of our closest challengers? Also due to the attitudes from rival clubs over the last few years id be reluctant to sign any players that involved a fee over 250k. As for a striker, this team is probably going to be suited to Kenny Miller to a tee, the balls that was played in he would have been there, Hardie on the bench, give the lad a try see if he has the knack of right place right time. Keep our money. The football is good at the moment, confidence is high, share the goals around and all the players will perform to the highest levels
  5. A league game, non derby, friday night, tv game. Apart from other huge derbies from around the world how many games would sell out on a Friday night?
  6. Bit like dumping a bird and shes telling everyone that she dumped you
  7. Had a wee poke at the FA about this and got a reply. Here's my email and reply. Subject: Football Association Enquiry: Dear Sir/Madam, In light of Rotherham FC player Kirk Broadfoot, your disciplinary panel has decided to hand a punishment of 10 games to the player for abusive/insulting words against a opponent. This is of course in regards of a match that took place between Wigan and Rotherham and was directed towards James McLean. Although there is no place in football for sectarianism, i struggle to comprehend the FA's views on why they felt a 10 match ban was sufficient for this. In previous racially motivated abuse has been sanctioned with a 8 or 9 match ban. Physical violence towards a referee (pushing) was issued with a 10 match ban, i am curious to know that does Mr Broadfoot's punishment fit the crime. If so then surely in future all abusive/insulting behaviour is now equal to or greater than racially motived comments or physical violence. I could list plenty of previous incidents that would make this seem like an attack on Mr Broadfoot or a overwhelming defence of Mr McLean but i just wonder if perhaps there is something more than meets the eye on this punishment. Any correspondence back from yourself would be gratefully appreciated. Dear XXXXXXX, Thank you for your email. Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, Rotherham United’s Kirk Broadfoot will serve an immediate 10-match suspension after a misconduct charge against him was found proven. The charge was that during a league fixture between Rotherham and Wigan Athletic on March 14 2015 Broadfoot used abusive and/or insulting words towards a member of the opposition, in breach of FA Rule E3(1). It was further alleged that the breach was an “Aggravated Breach” as defined by Rule E3(2). Broadfoot was also fined £7,500 and ordered to complete an education programme. Supporters often compare incidents with others and ask why the same actions are not taken. The Football Association takes its disciplinary procedures very seriously and judges each investigation on its merits. We do appreciate all of the feedback we receive from supporters. This feedback is collated and used to build a picture of public opinion and is subsequently fed back internally within the organisation. Please rest assured your suggestions will form part of this feedback process. Kind regards XXXXXX
  8. This is not what i have said at all. You've taken it out of context, a European cup is a class above all our cups, how you can even think i would compare them is beyond belief.
  9. As much as i agree with that statement surely finding a balance is more important. Long term we need to win the league.
  10. 3 cups and a league is a lot to ask for with a smaller squad, I think we may have to play a weakened side in either one or two cups to minimise injury risks and keep players fresh. Although id love a cup run id sacrifice all 3 for a place in the premier league next season. Surely the youths have got to be in for a shout against lesser opponents of those who are equal to us? Just a thought....
  11. McBookie had us at 9/5 before KO took it as part of acca
  12. What a noise, what a difference, could feel the energy even seeing it on TV. With us as the 12th man and that kind of football......
  13. The fourth official sets the added time but i think it was to stop us pumping more past hibs, get the match fee collected and get home!
  14. Hibs have put a defender in midfield to stop our passing style, they've gone for containment and counter attacking rather than play football themselves. That being said our wingers need to come more and attribute more in the game and we should rip them to shred, wide play will sort this out
  15. Dave Whelan no longer runs Wigan though? Thought his gandson was in control?
  16. Nope, perhaps with the crisis at Wigan and the possibility of the players wanting out of a "toxic environment" it was best for all parties to move them on
  17. Who says we wont? why settle for less than the best we can get? we've already signed four new players already
  18. Who's being lined up as the new sports scientist?
  19. Didnt Souness become player manager and earn his stripes with us?
  20. What badges does he hold? Also out of curiosity, what badges did the previous management hold?
  21. Ive placed on the waiting list for my first ever season ticket, being in Inverness now (rather than Wick) gives me no excuse not to go.
