  1. Positive news, if only because Tennents is a better pint than Carling! I also think it's good that we are associated with a Scottish brand.
  2. It's the last thing we need at the moment and I really hope it doesn't come to anything. The good news is that it's going to be very difficult for her to prove this story (which I'm pretty sure has been fabricated). It's her word against the other three unless one of them tries to pin it all on McGregor.
  3. I blame the agents. No doubt someone is pulling the strings behind all this trying to get them a better deal and hawking their arses round any club who may be interested.
  4. He's quite possibly the biggest waste of money I've ever seen grace a Rangers jersey but I'll be 100% behind him over the coming weeks. Time for Kyle to earn his Bentley or his new Porsche and if he can't hack it then it's time to move him on. He'll have a run of games in a high-scoring team and be playing in his preferred position so no excuses.
  5. This wasn't in the script. Hopefully Walter can put a rocket up their arses at half-time. I hope we finish this tie today instead of being happy to take it to a replay. With our injuries the last thing we need is an extra game.
  6. No way will Boyd move to the Championship and work under Strachan. I'm more concerned about what Eck is up to. If he offers Boyd a chance to play in the EPL with Premiership wages then I think Boyd will be off.
  7. Great news! I just hope Eck stays out of things.
  8. They say we are Scotlands shame due to a few "arguments" but this is Scotlands real shame. sorry, should say Irelands real shame What is "shameful" is that a group of Rangers fans use the victims of child abuse as a stick to beat our biggest rivals. It happened years ago, it's already been made public, everyone knows about it. There's nothing to be gained by constantly picking the wound and, quite frankly, it makes those who do so look like rather sick individuals. Forget and forgive? That's a matter for those involved. Not for Rangers fans.

  10. It would have more credibility in my eyes if it had been written by the victims of child abuse as opposed to supporters of a football club using it as ammunition against their biggest rivals. It's tragic that these events occurred and is not something to gloat about.
  11. It's time for a reality check. In my opinion, Lafferty has not shown anything to suggest that he will "come good" no matter how many games he plays. He is a liability when he is on the park and clearly if we had the 3.75 million in our pockets we would not buy him again. The only option I see is to loan him out to a Championship club and hope he does something there to recoup some of the fee we have spent on him. I'm sure he is a likeable big guy and he will get my full support every time he pulls on the jersey but I can't see any way that he will ever become a top player for Rangers.
  12. Good original post. Too many people take it for granted that Boyd is going to stay no matter what. I'm sure he would love the opportunity to prove himself in the Premiership despite his love of Rangers.
  13. I'd take the money. Mendes has been brilliant in flashes but is far too inconsistent. He won't win us the league.
  14. That's what I thought. We won't get much money for him in January. It makes financial and footballing sense to offer him a new contract and if the financial situation worsens then at least we can demand top dollar for him at the end of the season. One other thing. I wouldn't believe the Rangers board when they say that we don't need to sell. If we did need to sell then there is no way they would admit that. It would only serve to weaken our negotiating position.
  15. Great partnership. Here's hoping Walter does the right thing and plays them both up front next week.
