It would have more credibility in my eyes if it had been written by the victims of child abuse as opposed to supporters of a football club using it as ammunition against their biggest rivals. It's tragic that these events occurred and is not something to gloat about.

It's time for a reality check. In my opinion, Lafferty has not shown anything to suggest that he will "come good" no matter how many games he plays. He is a liability when he is on the park and clearly if we had the 3.75 million in our pockets we would not buy him again. The only option I see is to loan him out to a Championship club and hope he does something there to recoup some of the fee we have spent on him. I'm sure he is a likeable big guy and he will get my full support every time he pulls on the jersey but I can't see any way that he will ever become a top player for Rangers.

Good original post. Too many people take it for granted that Boyd is going to stay no matter what. I'm sure he would love the opportunity to prove himself in the Premiership despite his love of Rangers.

I'd take the money. Mendes has been brilliant in flashes but is far too inconsistent. He won't win us the league.

That's what I thought. We won't get much money for him in January. It makes financial and footballing sense to offer him a new contract and if the financial situation worsens then at least we can demand top dollar for him at the end of the season. One other thing. I wouldn't believe the Rangers board when they say that we don't need to sell. If we did need to sell then there is no way they would admit that. It would only serve to weaken our negotiating position.
