Seems to me it's just the same few who post constantly about how bad Ally is and take any position as long as it is negative to the team and the manager.
And they have the cheek to question if we are the real fans.

Being a fair minded person I would normaly agree with that sentiment, but too much mindless kicking and thoughtless, vindictive, sheer bloody mindedness has resulted in a Fanbase that cannot forget the feeding frenzy that resulted from the criminal act of one person. How can we forgive when we have people like turnbull hutton stateing we got what we deserved a week before we meet his team in our biggest game of the year so far.edit: I fully realise that hutton was giving the Football version of the Boxers toe to toe windup, but it stirs up a load of shit.

Someone has said in this thread that they don't want Hearts to go bust. Their rational being that he'd rather we fecked them on the field of play. What that is missing is that when we were attacked by the rest of Scottish football, instigated by the mob from the east, is that we weren't screwed on the field of play. It was in the field of finance that they tried to kill us and as they're also in trouble for over-reaching themselves financially, that's where the attack should be.
The gloves are off imo, and it wasn't us that started it.

Agree 100% before any Bear sheds a tear for them we should keep a few things in mind.
    1. They voted against Rangers cva.
    2. They called us cheats on their official website.
    3. They as part of the Spl tried to strip Rangers of titles and hand them on a plate to septic.

I agree, but what about the millions we lost, I bet it was a damn sight more than Hearts, if they pay Hearts then they can give us back every penny they stole from us and a public apology over the handling of the Rangers affair and the 5 way agreement. If not, no mercy

I got a call from Co Armagh RSCs today passing on the unfortunate news that 'Tom', one of their loyal wheelchair-bound supporters has had a nasty fall, and broken a leg and will not be able to attend the Final.
That's terrible news, and we wish Tom all the best and hope that he recovers quickly enough to make the next final, which hopefully won't be far away.
Tom was keen to make sure his ticket (and the ticket for an accompanying carer) went to good use, so he has asked us to pass them on to someone who could make use of them.
So I called Erskine and now "Wee Jimmy" (I think he's 96, but I'd need to check), described universally as "he's Rangers Daft!" will be attending his first Rangers final in quite a few years - and he'll be able to wear the stuff he bought on his Ibrox day out in January.
(Erskine Staff can fight amongst themselves over who gets to go with him), and Co Armagh RSCs will also have some gift bags for them both, so a great day out is assured.
So a speedy recovery to Tom and thanks to him and Co. Armagh RSCs for always thinking of others, even when they've got their own problems to deal with.

I like Aird. Decent, energetic, confident wee player. Everyone wants young guys given a chance, and then when they are many are very critical of them. Remember he's 19. He's progressing well. He needs to improve his shooting and crossing (especially from corners) though.

See this is where I fundamentally disagree with people. Those that wanted us demoted to the 3rd tier so that we could reinvent ourselves were deluded. It's not pretty down here. It's a cliche but it's also true, these games are a cup final to these teams, even more so since we're undefeated in the league. The acclaim the team that does defeat us will get spurs these teams on. On top of that, these teams kick our players up and down the park with little protection given by the referee.
Teams at the start of this season thought we were weak and for the taking based on the previous season. We thumped each and every one of them. Now teams have wisened to the fact and instead play man for man, doubling up on our key players and stick behind the ball not giving us a minute and looking to counter. All good tactics against a superior team, but none of this makes for a good game of football to watch and ultimately it has fail each team this season as we've come out eventual winners.
McCoist has done what was needed, rebuilt our squad and instil within them the NEED to WIN first a foremost. These players came from teams that did not have a weight of expectation or a fanbase so unforgiving or unappreciative. Even now, undefeated in the league, in the Ramsden's final and still with a great chance of SC semi-final, the fans on here dish out unbelievable abuse.
So McCoist is right, get winning, get into the habit of winning and build from there. New players coming in are joining a squad already focused on winning which will serve us well when we get back to the top.
Our fans are not known for patience, but also not known for being disloyal. Shamefully, some posters on here cannot rise to support the team and encourage them on, instead they would rather continue their delusion that 'someone else ' can take Ally's place and have us play like Barca against these 'plumbers' and 'joiners' (who are still in the competition while other big names are not.

I don't recall a new squad each season (if it was said thats rubbish). Strengthen next year yes. But that's largely an attempt to improve in a gradual sense for the top division. Regards my previous comment - I didn't say 'squad' I said 'players'. I don't see that that contradicts McCoist wanting to strengthen next year (regardless of what we think about that).
It's also arguable if those players were 'the best' from their sides. Black was, but only for a season. Previously he was not. Shiels has had one or two good seasons but has not been a consistently 'best in his team' player. Law was, but his previous career didn't exactly have him as a superb player. Daly has never been consistently great, scores decent amount of goals but otherwise is ordinary and not the best in his team (just like with us). Templeton was always inconsistent. Players good enough to get us up the divisions, but not to give us great football routinely. Poor layers by our normal standards. You can see that from the basics; their touch, heads down etc much of the time.

Now the dust has settled a bit and having backed the fire with my daily rag,I'll give my take on things, tin hat on.
We started the game with good pace and control and with better balls into the box we could have scored early doors but we didn't and they got a corner, which Jig set up for them to score. We pressed and pressed for the rest of the 1st half but poor crosses and players not reading others movement in the box let us down.
Thought we would have upped our pace in the 2nd but if anything,we slowed down.Still we persisted with pumping balls into the box without pace, which were meat and drink for their defence.Albion players were falling all over the place with cramp but we didn't put pressure on those that did,in fact Mohsni thought it a good idea to help get them on their feet again, good sportsmanship maybe but not his job.
I'm glad the Ref showed commonsense when Mohsni scored,it was never a foul on the keeper, players must be allowed to jump for the ball, which Mohsni did,if the keeper had punched the ball he would have cleared it but he opted to try to catch it,his mistake.
I've read/heard constantly today of how lucky Rangers were to get a draw,REALLY? Even though the balls into the box were largely poor,we should still have scored 4/5.Other than their goal what did Bell have to do the entire game,NOTHING.
Who among us fans would have thought of pushing Mohsni up front and bring Faure into defence?A tactical move by Ally that paid off. This again will be another opportunity for the 'Ally out' brigade but I ask you in all seriousness, was yesterdays result worse than Morton v Scum or Wigan knocking Man City out of the FA Cup?
Albion are hoping the return game will be played at Accies ground and their Manager is 100% certain they will knock Rangers out,I beg to differ,Albion had their chance yesterday and blew it,we will hammer them in the replay,of that Ive no doubt.
Incidently, I'm sitting on the fence were Ally's position is concerned but he's OUR Manager and the players are OUR Team so lets get behind them instead of constantly haranguing them, rant over.WATP.

As someone else mentioned we played against a team who hardly had a look at our goal and played a very defensive game, don't matter who you are that is always difficult to play against, people seem to forget that we've employed the same tactics ourselves in European matches, sure it wasn't pretty but the 3 points is still the most important thing at the end of the day.

We were lacklustre BUT did Bell have a stop to make?East Fife deserve credit for their defensive performance but they offered nothing going forward. We were lacking pace and imagination and certainly weren't getting decent ball into the box but we were unlucky a couple of times towards the end.We won ugly, upward and onward,WATP.

Do Stranraer not get any credit for the way they played in that match, I think they employed the tactics that most teams are bringing against us, pressurize ever player wherever they are on the park, defend in numbers and try to hit on the break. Postmen and plumbers want to win games too.. Thought Black got a bit battered in the center of the park but stood up to it well.

Going by your rising level of anger with our Club I'd say Ally is more likely to be there when we get to the top than you.

I reckon he feels since we have turned them over in the past and that we have a far better team while playing at home he expects and wants them to actually show us some football and go through.
Of course a win and progression is all that matters but a wee bit of entertainment for those turning out should also be warrented.

Can't argue with that, I'm sure our tactics are designed to draw the teams out, but if we played with a bit more tempo when we have the ball and put pressure on the opponent when they have the ball the fans would be a lot happier, it's simple.

Don't think it actually matters who Ally plays, it's attitude, we play these small teams and they press the ball for 90 minutes, what do we do we let them play, on the few times we have needed too, we have adapted a more pressing game and the difference is night and day, as in the last 20 minutes against Arbroath.
