  1. There's a wire fence that may be suitable depending on the actual size of the Rangers end, iirc the wall is mostly covered with sponsor boards.
  2. This is the set up for Sunday, doubt there will be many looking over the wall.
  3. The Dave Smith Loyal Fraserburgh Rangers Supporters Club is surprisingly enough from Fraserburgh.
  4. I've only been here the 32 years and it's never been the case that there are more Tims than Bears just like Peterhead.
  5. It's nonsense to suggest there are more Tims than Bears in the Broch even the Tims concede that.
  6. Best option for those looking for tickets is to seek out someone with some clout at Sky or William Hill as they've supposed to have gotten 150 each according to the local grapevine.
  7. It might be a shitehole but the Tims have to share a supporters club with Peterhead and Aberdeen while Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Aberdeen have their own RSC's. Can't go out much then.
  8. That's been superseded by both a Wetherspoons and a Subway!
  9. It''s decent enough though not very well run. Rooms are ok in a Travelodge/Premier Inn kind of way. Pop over the road and I'll give you your morning as I don't think they serve before 11 nowadays.
  10. The Station was turned into a doss house years ago.
  11. They're supposed to be putting up fencing that will prevent you looking over the dyke from the swing park/street.
  12. The idea for the room was put forward at a Disability Matter Group meeting by one of the members. The concept was investigated and researched, Sunderland was visited as they had one up and running. The result of the Sunderland visit was that it was decided that their model (basically a corporate box with a couple of toys in it) was not what was needed and other options were explored. Another problem with the Sunderland model is that basically it was the same people getting the use of it week in week out, Rangers want as many families as possible to benefit from it in the hope that those using it will eventually be able to sit in the stands like everyone else and enjoy a relatively normal matchday experience though recognise that this will not be possible in every case. Eventually the old radio room was identified as the best option and the project grew from there. Many people were involved in the project and like them or loathe them the fact is Craig Houston and John Brown were among the main drivers of the fundraising that enabled the project to come to fruition. Many of those involved in the conversion of the radio room gave goods or services or even both free and several fans donated equipment. I'm not aware of any direct involvement of Club 1872 in the project and not aware of them directly providing any funds. It's been interesting to see the project grow from the initial seed being sown through to the official launch on Monday, it wasn't all plain sailing and there were a few minor setbacks along the way but the determination to see the project through overcame the setbacks. The Disability Matters Group will now move on to other projects aimed at making the matchday experience for all disabled fans as enjoyable an experience as possible and that requires an awful lot of work but with the will of all those involved and most importantly the will of the Club itself nothing should be insurmountable in achieving that goal. It's a nice feeling to get that first project under the collective belt.
  13. I left the stadium just as the horses were galloping down the tunnel followed by about a dozen or so Police running down. I was parked in the space roped off for wheelchair fans which is the last part of the car park before where the buses park. The steward was refusing to let cars exit but after about 5 minutes 2 other cars edged out and I followed suit, again we were stopped trying to exit the car park again at the exit to KInghorn Drive again the cars in front just drove passed the steward to get out. I drove the fifty or so yards down Kinghorn Drive exited left down Mount Annan Drive along Aitkenhead Road then on to the A728 at the split and from there up the slip road on to the M74. It's actually the quickest I've ever got away from Hampden, however all the way down those streets I saw not one single Police Officer and not one single Police vehicle. Thing is there is direct access from Aitkenhead Road up to the East Stand where the Hibs fans were supposed to be. It's clear the whole Police Operation on Saturday was a shambles from the pre-game planning to the woeful execution. The fact that they utterly failed to plan for any trouble from the Hibs fans and all Police reinforcements were located with only access from the Rangers end gives an insight to the mindset of Police Scotland and that's a dark, bigoted and disturbing place.
  14. I mentioned it in relation to mitigating the reduction of capacity when Rangers start to comply with the forthcoming UEFA requirements in regards to wheelchair facilities and was told it simply wasn't going to happen. Strange it was subsequently used as one of the main selling points of Club1872 eh?
  15. Those email addresses haven't been valid since the Llambias days.
  16. Yes. Was beside the dug outs that night. Neilson was continually urging his players to keep it on the ground and pass and move whilst our players were being told to hoof it forward as fast as possible.

  18. LOL...the board have managed to obliterate shareholder value and the share price perfectly well on their own have they not?
  19. Was at the game. Started poorly but improved as the game went on. McAusland was extremely average looking and didn't seem to listen to the instructions from the touchline. Gasparotto strolled through the game looking calm and composed and was seldom troubled. Burrows took a knock when he scored and had to be replaced shortly after, didn't do much during the game but took his goal well. Crawford was disappointing was playing in the centre of midfield and really should have taken the game by the scruff of the neck but didn't. Telfer was the best player on the park, technically decent, put in a shift and not scared to have a pop from distance, perhaps should have done better when clean through near the end but in fairness he must've been knackered or then. Ramsay improved as the game went on and like Telfer wasn't shy in having a pop and made the keeper work on many occasions. Gallagher is a bit of a brick shithouse of a lad, again put in a decent shift but was mostly isolated being the lone striker, had he been more alert he might have nipped a goal near the end when the Aberdeen keeper spilled one. The rest seemed solid enough without being spectacular. None of them look like they're knocking on the door of the first team though I'd like to see Telfer get a wee run.
