The wage bill for the first team is 37.8M an increase from 33.5M the year before
The 55M is all the staff employed by Rangers

To be fair if they advertised it as that they’d probably sell more tickets the way things are going

For a so called journalist your reading comprehensive is not very good - the first refers to the state of our education system and how not much of our own history is taught. The 2nd refers to people that actually sit and thus study for the test. The two are not related.

I see how you have obviously sought out the easiest questions to make your point
What did the Chartists campaign for?
Who appoints “Life peers”?
When is St David’s day?
What Palace was a cast-iron and plate-glass building originally erected in Hyde Park, London, England, to house the Great Exhibition of 1851?
Which Two British film actors have recently won Oscars?
Who was the first Briton to win the Olympic gold medal in the 10,000 meters?
Where is the Cenotaph located?
Who built the Tower of London?
The UK government hasn’t used the power to suspend the Northern Ireland Assembly
When did the first Christian communities appear in Britain?
The test has been described by a Lords committee as outdated and offensive requiring obscure knowledge of facts along with who likes roast beef.
It seems the overall percentage of people that pass is 81% but it does require studying

gj923 got a reaction from HG5 in Hot Headed Morelos
Its a 3 man panel different to Scotland and its initially based upon points related to international appearances weighted for country, salary and transfer fee.
Everton who where mentioned have had a few players denied permits in the last few years - Henry Onyerku and Santiago Sosa.
Fulham where denied one for Justin Kluivert from Roma.
In Scotland its basically rubber stamped if they say they are better than what you can sign locally.

You just know Gio will go for the usual suspects and we will win by 3 or 4. However we could easily rest a good few of them and still win by 3 or 4.

Wright Colak Sakala
Absolutely no need for Tav, Davies to be risked and Arfield, Lundstram look shattered. To be honest, I wouldn’t even give Matondo a place on the bench. Roofe to get last half hour if he doesn’t get injured in the tunnel. Fill the bench with kids apart from Roofe and Morelos.
I assume we are all agreed that, unthinkable as it may be, defeat really would be Gio’s final game in charge?
EDIT: Just realised that Kamara is unavailable now as well. Tillman in his place and last 30 for Lowry if he’s OK.

gj923 got a reaction from plymouthranger in Kent
Was going to say he will end up at a championship club but Tom Lawrence has played at that level most of his career and showed more in the short time he has been here than Kent has this season. Cannot excuse his lack of application when it comes to tracking back but that's up to the manager to sort out.
However our wingers always seem to struggle for confidence/form I wonder if that is in part due to the pedestrian speed that we play at for large parts of the game. When I think back to some of the chances he has had or created in Europe its normally when we are really going for it.

I know someone that was sacked for posting on Facebook that her job was boring or shite. A lot of companies will have contracts with social media clauses that the employ can not act in a way that reflects poorly on their employer.
there was a female solicitor that worked for a firm in Glasgow that was canned for something she posted about us a few years ago.

gj923 reacted to Davy Vandenbroucke in Next Manager Discussion Thread
Stolen from FF:
”There is next to no chance of GVB going until the season is out. But names like Dyche are depressing.
If he does go, we should do everything to appoint Gerardo Seoane, who is just out the door at Leverkusen. Yes, it was a dismal start to the season for them, but that was also the case with Klopp at BVB. Happens.
Only 39, he turned an average Luzerne side into one of the best in Switzerland, then dominated at Young Boys, winning 3 titles in a row. He also had them competing in Europe and the UCL - their patched up side held their own against us, even winning over there.
He had Leverkusen playing some incredible, fast flowing football. Not only that, but he improves players. He turned Frimpong from a headless chicken into one of the best wing backs in the Bundesliga.
Suave as fuck and just has that classiness you'd expect from a Rangers manager. Also speaks perfect English.”

Something of a concern, and perhaps symptomatic of a wider problem, that a director wishes to address fans concerns over a lack of communication & the over comercialisation of the club, does so via the platform of a subscription only service.

gj923 reacted to graeme_4 in Gio Discussion Thread
I posted this in the match thread, but nothing summed us up as a team more than King taking a booking for the team and then 5 or 6 of them pushing him about after it - with only Colak getting in about it, and then Borna eventually backing up Colak.
Cunts like Goldson, Tav, Kent, Lundstram just walking about heads down. Meant to be leaders. Should be in about it, backing up a youngster from the off.
Stems from Gio’s passive approach to everything. I was raging at the time.
