  1. No finger nails left after this weekend....... Now I can't wait.... party time next week & a cup final to win too Here comes the double!!
  2. Well done , great pics in both posts. It's good to see what it was like over there. Thanks
  3. This is a good question. One which I would like to hear a definitive answer to also. I have never heard the explanation of the ships funnel before and it certainally sounds quite feasible. The only other explanation which I have heard is the sectarian one. So it would be nice to hear that the ship building explanation is true
  4. At the risk of sounding a bit paranoid. Is it just me, or has the press been a tad one-sided in it's coverage of the ref's performance on Sunday? OK, it was a blatantly bad decision to award the first penalty and there is no arguing that point. Quite rightly this has made the back pages..........but what about Bazza's goal (or not , as was the case)? Here is another equally bad decision which has hardly been rated a mention. Killy...... hard done by.....PLEASE!!! Give us a break. One bad decision cancelled out the other. The other two penalties were both on the soft side so thaey equal out too, which brings us to the Killy goal. Personally I think that if it had happened at the other end a foul would have been given against the keeper.........don't recall reading that in the paper! <cry> <cry> JJ dry your eyes and admit that your team was well beaten on the day! <cry> <cry>
  5. To be honest Despite the Andy Cameron bit I rather like "I am a Bluenose Loyal & True" and "The Blue Sea Of Ibrox" ain bad either!
  6. I got to say that I am not sure wher I stand in the midst of all this. I know we need to secure 2nd place but I cannot be convinced that the short term quick-fix signings till the end of the season are the right way forward. Sure if there were definite signing targets for the summer then ok.....but are there or is it a case of wait and see who becomes available. Remember that someone who isn't playing first team football at their present club is possibly not the calibre of player we need to IMPROVE on the quality of the players that we already have which is the whole point of the exercise in the first place. Look around at other Scottish clubs...sometimes sticking with youth isn't the worst thing in the world. I'm not big Karl's biggest fan but maybe sticking with him might do him more good than binning him until next season once Webster is fit.
  7. Sorry FF but not Souey for me. He had his time
  8. He's blue...he's white good luck Durranty!
  9. news reports seem to suggest Walter as GM with Coisty & AN Other coaching the first team...................gotta say I am not so sure..you know second time round and all that. Burley might not be a bad idea you know but having said that a couple of weeks ago I did say (In gest) that perhaps the two Jimmies may be Ibrox bound...................I think that it may not be beyond the bounds of possibility. I agree with many of your sentiments, especially with the whirlwind events since the new year that we should take our time and get it right this time. Let's face it rather than compound matters would it be too bad to have an interim coach in post until we can get the ideal candidate if that individual cannot come until the summer? This is virtually the position that we were in this time last year when we new big Eck was on borrowed time and was just there until Sir Mintalot got his man. <bouncy> <bouncy> <bouncy> <bouncy> <bouncy> <bouncy>
