  1. What a fucking mess. Again. None of the parties concerned come out of this looking good. Another avoidable, unnecessary public spat. Literally the last thing we need. We could be looking at one of our greatest ever seasons, on our 150th anniversary. We should all be pulling together, preparing ourselves for a final push down the stretch. Yet here we are still having to put up with this pathetic, embarrassing, petty shit. Wish they would all just fuck off.
  2. So close on one. Cheated on the other! Haha Sitting on 9 shots with about 25 minutes to go! Pedri with the most blatant yellow card offence and not booked.
  3. Need 1 more shot on target from Auba, Torres, or Vin Jnr.
  4. Thought Roofe looked really sharp in his 45 minutes. 3 or 4 really decent moments. Good to see him, Ramsey, Helander, Sakala, Sands, Lowry, McCann and Diallo get minutes. Good to offload Aribo, Balogun, Lundstram, McGregor (and Morelos for a half). Jack playing regularly. Goldson scoring. Bassey continuing to impress. Tav incredible. Another clean sheet. Only slight disappointment was it should have been more.
  5. One Wolves corner away from about £2,210! 31 out of 32. Wolves 2 down at half time and can only muster up 1 corner and 2 SOTs! Haha!
  6. Huge. Fucking ref is a joke. I get the 6 mins but not the extra minute and 7 seconds. He blew at half time when they had a corner. Should have done the same again. He should then have blown when Hibs won the header but he waited until they got 2 more shots away! Ah well, fuck the lot of them. Let's fucking pump Motherwell now.
  7. Their recruitment has clearly been successful. However, I think the biggest issue is their style of football. They basically just go at you full throttle from the first minute until they tire. Doesn't matter who it's against. It's relentless. And if they score early, it does become difficult. If you hold out or score first, it could be easy. Our defending again was terrible though. On a slightly related point, in terms of being a bit more direct, as much as I rate Aribo and Kamara, I just wish they were more dynamic and aggressive, willing to just do more, drive more, take more chances, take more shots (moreso Aribo in that respect). It's all too slow, easy and nice at times. I mention those two purely because they are technically really good and it's frustrating as I want more from them, and I know they are capable of more. They should be dominating games like this. However, like many others the game just passed them by. No specific blame on them though. Collectively we were miles off it.
  8. It's probably as animated as Gio will get. It's certainly the most animated he's been thus far. Gio absolutely deserves criticism. The buck will always stop with the manager. Pre match, comparing both teams most of us were pretty happy with the lineups. That first half was horrendous though. The players really need to take accountability for what they do on the pitch. So many of our big, experienced players were miles off it or wend hiding. Couldn't pass it, wouldn't offer, wouldn't make runs, pulling out of tackles, not making tackles, not tracking back, losing their men, no movement, taking the easy option (and failing), no one willing to grab the game, stick out their chest, play forward. It was a tough watch. We've seen similar performances under Gerrard too in some games as well so it's certainly not the first time either. Obviously compounded by who we were playing. We seem to have perfected the art of losing 2 goals in 4-5 minutes spells. Hopefully this is a wake up call. Yup, another one. We can't keep having wake up calls. There is very little margin for error now. It's a small thing but at least Gio made decisions at half time even though it was probably too late. It's still in our hands. There's still so much to play for. I still believe but fucking hell, that was fucking rough tonight.
  9. There's nothing positive about tonight. The result was all that mattered. That said Jack never put a foot wrong. Glad to see him back. Hopefully he can kick on now.
  10. He looked lost, timid and devoid of any confidence. He wasn't the only though sadly. Looked a shell of the player tonight. Even when he was in their half his first thought seemed to be turn back and find McGregor.
  11. As bad as we were collectively and individually that Aribo pass to Arfield could have changed the game. No idea how he's over hit that.
