Windass just can’t cut it at Ibrox. Away from home, he’s had a phenomenal few months, but he just can’t seem to deal with the pressure at home.

It’s pretty fucking simple, he was pissed off that we only had 2 outfield players in our half to defend against a potential Hamilton counter attack and weren’t appreciating their ability to hurt us. Given the amount of times we’ve been caught out like that over the past few years by the proper diddy teams, I’m pretty glad he’s spotting these things.

You'll probably find the majority of them are completely Spanish run and it's just more of a branding thing. It's the same all over Spain when you are away from the tourist resorts. If it doesn't sell food and sells Murphy's or Guiness, then they call it an Irish bar.

The annoying thing for us is that he'll probably not even get any pitch time during the N.I game whereas he would probably have started or at least played 45mins against Linfield.

As I said, I'm a big fan when he's firing on all cylinders, I just don't think he is at the moment and hasn't been for the best part of 6months. He can be lethal and arguably has the best shot in the squad. Agree that when he's forward, somebody else should be generally be covering but his defending when he is tracking back is the suspect part.

So is Tav undroppable? He was at fault for the goal we lost against Motherwell and we often lose goals from balls in from his side. I'm a big fan of his when he's playing at his best but it's been a long time since I remember a game where he was making numerous dangerous runs into the box or down the flank. He seems to be getting to a point in the opposition half and then not committing any further. The problem is, when he does lose the ball, he's still struggling to cover back. I'm not saying Hodson is better than him but he didn't put a foot wrong pre-season and looked confident at the back and going forward. Players need to know their position in the team will be taken if they don't perform.

I'd be seriously tempted to drop Tav and give Hodson a shot. He cost us another goal at the weekend by being caught out miles up the park and then lunging in when he did eventually get back. He's also not causing as much of a threat going forward as he used to, so maybe being dropped will give him the kick up the arse he needs.

No. Peoples fascination with Ball is bewildering to me. He's no better than Wilson or Kiernen, cost us goals in the same way that those two did, he's not very quick and he didn't seem to have particularly good positional awareness. Not good enough.

The funny thing is, the fans of these wee diddy clubs still look at us and think of the shambles we were under McCoist. "Sevco are shite, they'll be lucky to make the top 6, it was easy against the part time teams". I really hope their teams players come in with the same confidence against us and open themselves up. If they do, we'll slaughter them.
