Just saying what i see bud. Gerrard improved us year on year, under Gio we have gone backwards - and in doing so are playing the most boring football ive ever seen. Would probably suit us to (even in short term) revert back to Gerrard /Beale set up. Lets face it, we keep persevering with wingers and everyone of them is shit. - solution, dont play a winger! Midfield barely score either. Best going back to narrow 3 in midfield, push up Tav and Borna and play the 2 number 10's off Alfie. At least everyone knew their jobs with & without the ball. We are a shambles right now and Gio seems to have tried every player in every position (more than once) The players arent buying what Gios selling.

Also we never got a real doing off anyone when SG was the gaffer. Think 2 goal margin was the worst. We have taken a fair few hidings under Gio. I accept the levels maybe up a bit with champs league, but the number and severity are way more than enough to get rid imo.

Unfair there mate. The club was a total shitshow back then and any money brought in would have been pocketed anyways. Wasnt great what was said, but tough times and he is as big a fan as any of us. I agree he is done as a keeper but less so on the other stuff.

Big stiff arse flat track bully - the Croatian Kris Boyd. Slight tongue in cheek tbh, he merits a place in the squad but we need better & he shouldn't be first pick. Good finisher but pretty limited overall. He is exactly what £1M gets you - a 29 yr old journeyman striker. That said we need better all over park.

7-1 humiliation should have spelled the end of Gio no question. And i agree whoever was responsible for rubber stamping the oz game should have been chased too. Not to mention the slap in the face to our fans in not doing the beam back for the Europa final. Board seem quite happy to fleece us for ticket prices, but appear less accommodating when its something back to us.

Shocked but delighted with this. I know he's not perfect, but hes always fit and we need that with likes of Balogun, Souttar and the big swede who are all pretty injury prone.
